A strong suspension starts with a solid connection to the frame. This kit includes two 5-1/4" tall front hangers with 3/4" bolt holes that create a secure mounting point for 2-1/2" slipper springs. Designed for 10,000-lb general-duty Dexter axles, these hangers give your single-axle setup the durability it needs to handle heavy loads mile after mile.
Consistent ride height and proper axle geometry come from balanced hanger heights. The included pair of 4-1/2" rear hangers work with the taller fronts to keep your axle square and the springs working evenly. It’s a straightforward setup that holds alignment and helps the trailer track straight and smooth.
Getting the job done right means having hardware that fits together perfectly. The kit comes with two 4-1/2" long x 3/4" diameter spring-eye bolts and matching 3/4" locknuts, so you have what you need to hang your springs securely. Each piece is sized for the right fit and strength without extra hunting for parts.
This hanger kit mounts two leaf springs to your trailer frame for a single axle, but it’s also compatible with add-on kits like HAP-258-01, HAP-258-02, or HAP-258-03 if you want to expand to tandem axles later. That keeps your suspension upgrade straightforward now while leaving room to grow your setup when needed.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Dexter Single Axle Trailer Hangar Kit. These hangers are designed for use with your 10,000 pound general duty Dexter axles, and they're gonna let you attach two two and a half inch slipper leaf springs. Of course, those leaf springs are sold separately to your trailer frame. Now this kit can also be used with the kit part numbers that you see there on your screen for Tandem axle applications. And this includes everything that you see here on the table before me.
You're going to get two front hangers and two rear hangers. And let me go ahead and provide the measurements for you on those hangers. So measuring the height of our front hangers, we're gonna be measuring from the center of our bolt hole to the top of the hangar. So lining that up, as you can see, these front hangers measure right in at five and a quarter inches tall. And then for our rear hangers, we're gonna be measuring from the center of our hole to the top, and we are sitting right at four and a half inches tall on the rear hangers.
You're also going to receive two four and a half inch long by three quarter of an inch in diameter spring eye bolts, and three quarter of an inch in diameter lock nuts as well. And I have those nuts attached to those bolts. I do wanna point out that this does not include any components for mounting your axle to the springs, but it does include everything that you see here, along with a set of instructions to walk you through the installation process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
