The WingBar Edge sits close and clean against the roofline, giving a factory-installed look that doesn’t stick out past the sides. With its flush design and 41" long aluminum bars, it keeps the setup compact and balanced. The low-profile style isn’t just about looks—it also helps with aerodynamics and reduces drag on the road.
Wind noise is one of the biggest annoyances when adding a roof rack. These aero-style crossbars are shaped to cut down on resistance, and the top channels have split rubber strips that close back around your accessory mounts. That means fewer gaps for air to catch, helping reduce whistling and vibration while you drive at highway speeds.
This rack keeps your adventures flexible. The top channels work with channel-mount accessories, while the bar shape also fits clamp-on attachments. That means you can carry just about anything—kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, skis, or cargo boxes—without having to buy new mounts for different gear. It’s ready to handle it all with a 165-lb weight capacity, as long as you stay within your vehicle’s maximum roof load.
Installing accessories can be a hassle when you have to cut rubber strips to fit mounts. The split-strip design here eliminates that step—you just slide your gear’s mount into the channel and let the strip close around it. It’s cleaner, faster, and keeps the channel sealed against wind and weather once everything’s in place.
When you’re away from your vehicle, it’s easy to add security with Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately). They help deter theft of both the rack and your channel-mounted accessories so you can park overnight or leave your setup at a trailhead with more peace of mind.

My THULE roof racks arrived as expected according to the delivery schedule. The box of the cross bars kit was open upon arrival and the one bar had a slight blemish and a little dint almost in the middle of the bar. The other box which contains the two pair of the J-Bars were closed and everything in it were fine. All the parts came altogether and nothing was missing. I purchased this product to install onto our KIA Sportage for loading our new Vanhunks Orca 13’-footer fishing Kayak. The THULE cross bar roof rack system is an excellent engineering design and very sturdy. I loaded and transported our new 81 pounder Kayak and the THULE roof racks maintained our cargo solidly and securely on top of the SUV. Drove to the Lake for almost two hours and two hours back and everything stayed intact until we got home and to the storage area.
I’ll let you know after I get new crossbars to put them on.
Easy to install, strong product. I only wish I had known it didn't include locks.
Very pleased with this item (as always I trust Thule on my roof and have across multiple vehicles!) and with the entire transaction. Knowing that we have the right fit kit for our vehicle’s Thule was very important and e-trailer made this easy to accomplish.
A combination of well-reviewed products with quality customer service, fast shipping, and an endless array of educational content makes buying from e-trailer a no-brainer!
The product is exactly as described and works great. What really stands out, though, is E-Trailer itself. I've bought from them many times over the years, and every single order has been handled with remarkable pricing, clear communication, and flawless execution.
While I secured a firm fit on the car, the rubber pads that contacted the car roof did not track the roof line as they should have. In addition, the instruction manual looked like it was written by someone who has never installed this roof rack. The parts were not labeled and the instructions were visual images that lacked a lot of detail and very little written instructions. I have owned several other Thule products in the past and found the instructions and fit to be much more accommodating. The only bright spot was the service I received from Adam S at Etrailer, who went above and beyond in helping me select the proper rack for the car I own. While I am somewhat disappointed in Thule, I would highly recommend using Adam and Etrailer.
Thule makes great products, install is straight forward, and secure on my truck. I used it for carrying long fishing rods for beach fishing.
Is perfect fit but would have liked it better if I could have just ordered and paid for the one item I needed instead of whole set of 4 feet for the repair when I only needed one.
These themselves seem great and solid - I just don't love the way they look hovering above the fit-kit.
Been a month haven’t received them yet they are in stock but guess we are waiting for one item which it’s in stock date gets pushed back every day. And the company doesn’t let the customer know the date changes or when they will send it.
Great solution for the naked roof on my 2011 Porsche Cayenne S
One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.
This "fit kit" from THULE does not impress me much. It does not sit flush with the roof rails of my 2021 Toyota highlander, doesn't really line up with the openings on the flush mount rails, and only attaches to the vehicle via one bolt at each of the 4 mounting locations. In that sense it's inferior to even the OEM toyota roof rack mount.
Great seller, fast shipping, good selec tion.
