This semi-custom SportRack roof rack easily installs on your vehicle's bare roof so you can carry extra cargo to your next destination. Adjustable, rotating footpads combine with an easy-to-use numbering system to make the rack conform to your roof for a good fit.

A unique numbering system is inscribed on the crossbars to aid in installation. This system corresponds to numbers noted in the easy-to-read application guide. First, find the number indicated for your car, and then slide the roof-rack feet along the crossbars until they line up with the appropriate number for your application. Tighten the feet in place with the included Allen wrench.

Refer to the application guide to find specific measurements that allow you to properly position the rack on your roof. To begin installing the roof rack on your vehicle, open the passenger's- and driver's-side doors. Place the front crossbar first, and make sure that the screws that hold the clamps in the roof-rack feet are loose before positioning the feet on your roof.

Before attaching the clamps to the door jambs and tightening them down, you need to make sure that the feet and pads are oriented correctly. The bottom of each foot can be rotated to better fit the slope of your roof. Make sure that the feet are sitting flush against the roof.

Once the feet are properly positioned, attach the clamps to the door jambs and tighten via the screws in the feet. After the front crossbar is positioned, review the instructions for the measurements needed to place the rear crossbar and repeat the same process for that crossbar.

Once everything is tightened down, place the locking covers over the feet to deter theft of the rack.

  • Economically Priced Roof Rack to Fit Flush Rails of 2018/2019 Honda CR-V
We have great roof racks that fit your 2018/2019 Honda CR-V, but the Sportrack is not listed as a fit. And even if it was I would not recommend it for you as it does not have a reputation for fitting well. The best priced option for the flush rails of our vehicle is the Rola part # R4002 which installs easily and gives you aero shaped bars for minimal wind noise.

  • Replacement Locking Cap for SportRack Roof Rack on 2000 Toyota Echo
For the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1003 there is no replacement clamp, though there is good news on the lock front as you can use the Replacement Locking Cap for SportRack Roof Rack # SR05013600000, and to get everything keyed alike you can replace your SportRack lock cores with those from Thule. You need the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders which are available in a quantity of four # TH450400, six # TH450600 or eight # TH450800. The Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251...

  • Snow Board Carrier and Description of How SportRack Roof Rack Works on 1995 Honda Civic Coupe
If you look at the photo one of our customers submitted, you'll get a better idea of how the SportRack # SR1003 roof rack and the # SR1116 Short Roof Adapter fit together. Because your vehicle is a coupe and there's not a second set of doors at the rear of the vehicle, without the short roof adapter the crossbars would mount so close together, they couldn't be used for anything. The adapter provides side rails and another set of clamps that allow the rear crossbar to be moved rearward a...

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback
I have a solution for you, but the Rola 59758 is not a confirmed fit for your 1992 Honda Civic hatchback. Instead you would want the Sportrack part numbers # SR1003 and # SR1116 if you are looking for an economically priced option or the Inno part # INB107,# INSUT, # INJK, and # INK130 for a custom fit rack that will fit very well.

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for 2016 Subaru WRX STi
We do offer some roof rack fits for your 2016 Subaru WRX, but the SportRack # SR1003 you had looked at wouldn't be a fit for your vehicle. The specific rack needed will depend on if your WRX is the sedan or hatchback model. For a sedan model, our most cost-effective alternative would be a square bar roof rack from Rhino-Rack, which would consist of the following parts: Euro style crossbars, part # RREB118B Roof rack feet, part # RRRLKVA Euro bar adapter, part # RREB-FK1 Vehicle specific...

  • Will the SportRack Roof Rack Part # SR1003 Work with Thule Accessories
As long as the roof mounted Thule accessory you are using will accommodate square crossbars which most do then it will work with the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs part # SR1003 which is a fit for your 2000 Honda CR-V. The size of a square crossbars which is usually 1-1/4" wide x 7/8" is more or less an industry standard therefore will work with almost all rooftop mounted accessories from any brand that accepts square crossbars. Thule actually makes SportRack so you should...

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for a 1995 Honda Civic
For your 1995 Honda Civic 3 door hatchback the Sportrack roof rack part numbers # SR1003 and # SR1116 is a confirmed fit. However, this is a semi-custom fit roof rack that doesn't always fit every vehicle perfectly since it's designed to fit as many vehicles as possible. A much better option would be the INNO part numbers # INB107, # INSUT, and # INJK, and # INK130. This is a custom fit rack that would fit much better.

  • Roof Rack Options for a 2003 Toyota Echo Coupe
The SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs part # SR1003 is indeed the only roof rack option we offer for a 2003 Toyota Echo. It will also require the Short-Roof Adapter for SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Racks part # SR1116. This is a square bar system that is widely compatible with all sorts of rooftop accessories. There are integrated locks for security and the rack has a 130 lb weight capacity. It's a great option for a Toyota Echo and very cost effective.

You will be able to carry a rooftop cargo box in this rack. I recommend the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black, part # Y07192. It is a dual-sided opening box. This rack has a short roof adapter that comes with it that allows the bars to be spaced a bit further out but still the spread is a bit close at 23-1/2 inches. Or, if a longer one is needed, # TH22WV, is 52 inches long. However, the SportRack bars are a little smaller than the Thule bars so it will not be the best fit.
