When your UTV, ATV, or off-road rig hits a soft shoulder and sinks into snow, mud, or sand, there's not always a a tree nearby to hook your winch to, and spinning tires usually just digs you in deeper. These recovery boards give your tires a solid surface to grab so you can drive out under your own power. The step-pyramid traction bumps are shaped to work with a variety of tread patterns, and the grippy underside helps keep the boards in place while you climb out. Just wedge the boards under your tires and ease onto the throttle to get moving again.
The built-in handles make it easy to grab the boards, even when you're wearing thick gloves or working in deep snow. You can also use a board like a shovel to dig around your tires so you can slide it into place.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at these Caliber XTrax Recovery Boards. Now, these two red recovery boards are gonna give you traction when your tires are bogged down in snow, sand, or mud. The rows of traction teeth are gonna give you a surface that your tires can grip onto, and the tread pattern and overall profile are designed for optimal traction, giving you superior, on-demand traction in the toughest conditions. I wanna give you a closeup view. Hopefully you can get a good view of the teeth there and what we're talking about here, and just gotta get an idea of the kind of traction these boards are gonna give you.
With the stepped engagement points and lower center ridge, these boards are gonna accommodate a wide variety of off-road tires, off-road vehicle tires. And these boards are going to nest on top of each other for easy storage as you can see. And let me go back to my overhead view and just give you some overall measurement. For the most accurate measurements here, I'm just going to flip this over upside down. So, looking at the overall length first, we're sitting pretty close to about 25 1/8 inches long.
The overall width here at right about the widest point, we're about a foot wide. And then flipping this over here, I'm gonna bring it around like this and go for a closeup view again. At the tallest point, we're right about 2 3/4 inches tall. So, these boards do feature handles. You got a handle here on this side, and then they also come with these two straps.
Can use them for recovery straps to pull 'em out of the sludge, so if you think you're gonna be using this in terrain where the boards are not gonna be easily accessible once you're done using them, you could potentially put one of these straps around, maybe through one of the holes here before you actually start using it, and then when it's done, once you've rescued your vehicle, you can use the strap to recover, or maybe you could even use the straps to kind of link them together as well. These boards are made here in the USA of a proprietary nylon blend that's going to prevent chipping and cracking. They feel very strong. They don't really flex a whole lot, so I think they're gonna hold up really well for you. So, that proprietary nylon blend's gonna help prevent chipping, cracking and breaking, and these do have a lifetime warranty from Caliber.
