Relatively easy installation on my 2004 Ram 3500. It would have been easier if I had removed the spare tire. I only noted a few minor issues. The instructions say to mount the U brackets to the rear two holes in the shock mounts. However, on this truck the shocks mount one in front and one in rear. Therefore, the passenger side mounts in the rear two holes, but the driver side mounts in the front two holes. Otherwise all went well.

This is on a 2004 Dodge 2500 with a 2500 lbs truck camper, Dirt bike on a hitch rack, and 2 mountain bikes on a front rack. The sway bar definitely helps. This one fit well around my stupid 5" exhaust that was installed by the previous owner. The Hellwig would not clear it. I have the Timbren SES and wedges in my leaf springs as well. The sway bar is a nice addition to those items. What I really notice is that when making emergency maneuvers or going off road, the truck corrects quicker than before and feels safer and less likely to tip over. I would not say the bar by itself will solve all of your issues, but couples with other remedies, it will help make your top heavy overloaded ride feel safer. With all my additions, I can confidently go the speed limit and often times well above through the Colorado mountains with no issues.

Installation was straightforward and fairly easy to install. The instructions were clear which helped to get the anti-sway bar installed without any damage or incident during the process. What a difference it makes while driving. Great product.

This is beefy and fits like a glove (OJ'S I BELIEVE). The only thing that made the whole installation a .... nightmare was the complete lack of instructions and/or video with in-depth visuals. This is definitely a 2 person install, if nothing else to hand stackable hardware while you're holding everything in place. Once installed and road tested, I'm a believer, does exactly what it is designed to accomplish. Also, item showed in stock when ordered but still took well over a week to ship with no explanation??

Installation was an all day project. To install both upper brackets with the nuts welded to them I spent hours trying to get the 2nd bolts to thread into the welded nuts without cross threading them.
I've been a mechanical contractor for 30 years and these were one of the worst fitting parts I've ever worked with. I don't know if I got bad parts or or they're all this difficult to install on a 2016 Ram 3500 dually.
I will call Roadmaster to see what there explanation is for these parts.

It seems that these were in fact cross threaded. What problem we usually see is that if the threads are not lining up, people using an impact will not be aware of the cross threading and will install the bolts all the way, leading to further complications. However, it seems like you are not having that same type of issue. I have reached out to the manufacturer for you and they have said that this is not a common issue for this system. If you have already contacted Roadmaster, have you received information from the manufacturer about your specific situation?

Installation was as expected.
I have not driven my truck with the camper on it or pulled my race car trailer.

I drive a 1 ton diesel and pull a 8000 # trailer. This anti sway bar makes this combination travel with none of the previous uncomfortable problems. I wonder why my truck came without a sway bar. Recommend to other Dodge owners.

I recently purchased and installed a rear sway bar for my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 diesel truck.. I searched through several models of bars but wanted one that was similar to the factory bar I had on my 2000 Dodge 2500 4x4. This Roadmaster bar is of excellent quality and bolts to the bottom brackets of the rear differential so the installation is very solid on the axle. The vertical links mount to 2 very sturdy brackets that attach to the frame rails. All the hardware is marked on the heads as graded hardware. The bars, links, urethane bushings and all hardware are excellent quality. This installation made an immediate improvement in my trucks roll stiffness. The factory does not make a rear roll bar for these year trucks for some reason. My previous Dodge had the camper package and came with a nice rear sway bar. This etrailer Roadmaster setup is a good option for anyone looking for something like a factory bar. The folks at etrailer were very knowledgable about their product and very helpful making sure I got the unit I needed. I will definitely recommend them and their products as well as use them in the future for my truck needs.

Still works well, does have clunk when you hit a bump. Talked with roadmaster and we could not identify cause. Make sure brackets are tight to frame, they will move.

Installation went super well thank to the online videos. Took me less than 1.5 hours to install by myself. I used a spare tire to prop up the sway bar while getting each side bolted up. I installed it on a 2017 3500 Ram and we use a Arctic Fox 990 truck camper. It eliminated about 90% or more of the sway we experienced before. I would highly recommend this product.

When attempting to install this I quickly realized that the arms were way too short. Called etrailer and was informed it was the right product for my truck. Called Roadmaster and after several back and forth calls it was determined that it would not work on my truck because it had after market airbags. Was never told that would be a problem. So now I’m sending it back and paying for a new box because the original was too damaged plus having to pay return shipping

Great instructions and nice, high quality fasteners.
Fitment was great and only minor adjustments to my Air lift air bags was needed.
I have a 2013 Ram 3500 Dually with:
-Torklift 30K hitch
-5” Exhaust
-Air lift 7500XL air bags.
The lower brackets for the air bags needed to be moved slightly and I had to cut the excess bolt off on the passenger side.
Fitment was great and only minor adjustments to my Air lift air bags was needed.
I have a 2013 Ram 3500 Dually with:

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!

RM-1109-121 Rear Sway bar for 85 Chevyvan G30 RV. Install was pretty straightforward. I would mount the brackets to the frame first and then the sway bar to the axle. It’s easier to drill the holes without the sway bar getting in the way.
Before I replaced the shocks and upgraded the from sway bar and added the rear sway bar my G30 Chevyvan Winnebago was a wallow wagon. It took 110% focus to drive. Now it drives like a regular vehicle. Smooth. No leaning over when cornering. It’s night and day.

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

I have carried a truck camper for 7 years with just Timbrin blocks also from Etrailer and finally made the move to Roadmaster anti sway bars front and rear. Planning a trip to the west coast from Georgia next year and wanted all the help I can get for stability on the mountain roads. Have yet to test but Im sure it will be a noticeable improvement. When my wife takes the wheel so I can have a break she would see-saw the steering wheel to balance the load and it drove me insane. Hoping for relief for both of us.
