To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. Then install the shower head onto your shower supply line. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at this Empire Faucets dual-knob shower valve with shower head kit. Now, if you're looking to update the shower in the bathroom of your RV, or of your camper, or even of your mobile home, and you're looking for one that's going to fit some tight quarters, this just might be the kit that you're looking for. Now, as you can see, these two handles feature a clear dual light knob style, and the washerless cartridges are going to reduce friction for a long life and easy, smooth operation. Now, this is a non metallic ABS plastic construction with a chrome finish and the chrome finishes very nice. I just like to mention that this does collect smudges and fingerprints very easily.
So you'll probably want to give that a wipe down every so often to maintain that nice chrome shine, and you also get with this, the shower head, the arm, and the flange, and the shower head is just going to be one function sprayer but the plate can be easily removed for cleaning if you ever need to do that, and so you're not going to have to worry about, that have to be very difficult to remove. And in regards to this valve, this is going to be an easy, wall-mount, an easy three hole installation. And as you can see here, you're going to be getting the deck plate and the mounting hardware. So again, it's just going to be a real easy install for this shower valve plate. This is ADA compliant, and again, the compact design is going to save space in tight quarters and speaking of tight quarters, let me give you some overall measurements here.
Let me pull out my ruler, and this does taper down from top to bottom. So let me go ahead and give you the measurement of the top, first. The overall length of the top, we're going to be sitting right at six inches long, and then flipping around on the bottom, we're going to be sitting right at about five and a half inches long. And then in regards to how tall this is, we're going to be sitting right at about two inches tall, and then the depth I'm going to be measuring from the base, where this will mount to your shower wall all the way out to the end of the handle, and we're sitting almost three inches. We're going to be right at about two and seven eighths inches deep.
Looking at the shower head, the diameter of the shower head is going to be sitting right at about an inch and seven eights. And by the way, this shower head is adjustable. And then the length from where you would mount this, the wall of your shower all the way down to the end, we're going to be sitting right at about, about six and a half inches from the wall to the end of that shower head. And then the distance between your inlets here center to center, we're going to be sitting right at four inches. Now this does have a limited lifetime warranty.

Super fast shipping and quick arrival. Product is solid and nice. Way better than the plastic we replaced. The mixed valve comes through at the same height as the others. The one replaced was offset by a 1/4 inch. easy enough as the cover plate was the same size and it looks nice. Would use etrailer.com again for sure.
