Specs:
The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix faucets four inch dual handle RV shower valve. This unit adds or replaces the shower valve in your RV. It's going to feature the dual acrylic lever handles which gives the unit a really nice look. Then right here we have the connection point for attaching a handheld shower. This is going to be the vacuum breaker. Your handheld shower's not included.
The unit is designed to prevent water back flow which is going to prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. The base is going to be made from a durable plastic construction with a brush nickel finish. The mounting area does require two holes for installation. These are the connection points for your hot and cold water lines. They're separated on center by about four inches. They're going to give us a length measurement of about an inch and a half.
Outer diameter is thirteen-sixteenths of an inch. Inner diameter is around a half inch. The shower hose connector right here has an outer diameter of thirteen-sixteenths of an inch. Take a look at the overall measurements. Just measuring the base, it's about two and one-eighth.
Measuring from edge to edge of the base, we're looking at about six and one-quarter inches. If we measure from the back of the base to the outermost point of the handles, we're looking at pretty close to three inches. Pretty simple installation, it's going to come with the threaded connectors back here and the mounting nuts. It's also going to come with a backing plate. Now the unit also comes with detailed installation instructions to walk you through the installation process step by step. In the instructions it's going to recommend that this has a height from the floor line of about forty-five to forty-eight inches.
It's going to tell you that you need two one inch diameter holes that are separated on center by four inches for these to feed through. Really nice design, very solid unit and again this is going to be a unit that adds or replaces a shower valve in your RV. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix faucets four inch dual handle RV shower valve.
