Thanks for the measurements and welcome back Kenneth. To replace your Trimark 1993 72130 door latch, I recommend the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock item # BA65FR. This latch fits cutouts that are 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall so you will need to trim away a bit of your horse trailer's cutout. The little bit of extra width on your cutout won't be an issue since the face of the latch will completely cover the opening.

The Bauer Products Camper Door Lock item # BA65FR is made of powder coated die-cast zinc for durability. It comes with a waterproof gasket to keep moisture out. The latch also includes separate interior locks for both the handle and the deadbolt.

The Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock item # BA64FR you were looking, at would also work. It fits the same size cutout but has an extra lock cylinder for the deadbolt.

What kind of horses do you have? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Actually mostly trail riding mules. Is there a simpler latch that would save a few dollars? We never lock it and especially don't need deadbolt. Thanks for the help

@KennethB You're welcome. Happy to help. Unfortunately, the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock item # BA65FR is going to be the most affordable option I have for your horse trailer's latch cutout size.
