Question:

I am converting an ambulance into a camper. My spaces are limited. I will locate my gray water tank in one of the outer lockers. Can you tell me the clearance I need to install this in a tank if I have a clear opening to the outside for the drain hose? I will probably use a reducer and use a garden hose to drain. Length of valve front to back

Expert Reply:

The length of the Valterra Waste Valve front to back part # T1001C is 4-1/2" long. It measures vertically 8-3/4" with the valve open and 6-3/4" with the valve closed. I have attached a diagram for your reference so you can compare to the area that you have.

You may be interetested in the Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable for RV Black Water Tank part # TC372 the flexible cable included makes it easier to use the valve when you have a hard to reach installation area.

good afternoon, a month ago I bought this drain valve: Valterra Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tank 1-1/2. they have a hose that can adapt to him. Could you send me pictures of that hose and specs?

Are you looking for the type of pipe that connects to this unit, or are you needing a specific adapter to attach this to a different size pipe? If you can let me know a little more about what you're trying to do I will be happy to find the right part.
