Today, we're going to take a look at the Valterra Bug Screens for the Suburban and Duo-Therm RV Furnace Vents. This is for a quantity of two screens. Now these Valterra Bug Screens for your RV Furnace, these are specifically designed to fit the Suburban and Duo-Therm Furnace Vents. Very easy to install. They're made of a heavy duty stainless steel construction. They're designed to keep out any unwanted pests, and it minimizes the airflow restriction.
The part includes everything shown here, the two screens, the installation tool, the two spring fasteners that are used to install these, set of detailed instructions on how to install them. A few measurements on the screens themselves, the overall diameter probably 00:00:36 right at 2.8" and the depth of them is going to be right at 1 1/4" deep. Now just one note, you do want to make sure screens must be inspected monthly and cleaned when necessary to maintain proper airflow. Still working like the day they were install. All I had to do was put up a sign that they came from etrailler and the bug run away.
Two spring per screen would be better. They bend.
Easy install, nice looking, great way to keep critters out of furnace intake/exhaust.
The wrong one for my unit but everything was as ordered and on time. I ordered the wrong type.
These will be perfect to keep the wasps from nesting in our exhaust vents!

Fit our Suburban furnace fitting perfectly. Purchased after our neighbor had a frog crawl into his furnace exhaust duct.
Does not fit dometic furnace or furrion water heater
Most orders go great but the reality is, regardless of vender occasionally things go south. etrailer simply does a good job when things go wrong. And following up a year latter shows a customer service department that understands asking for a 5 star rating before UPS leaves the driveway is rather dumb. The item fit well and was easy to install. That said, the package had been opened previously and was dirty. Not the kind of customer experience I was expecting.

Fit perfect and easy to install
I HAD a problem with mud dobbers and that was real pain to get the furnace cleaned up and working again.
A week later they were trying to move in again.
These wire cages stopped them 100%.
Might just be me, getting old and losing a bit of dexterity, but I found it difficult to make the springs hook in place. Did it. They work and don’t let go.
After a year and almost 10 thousand miles they are still exactly where I put them and keeping out the critters. No sign of rust/corrosion and the plastic/rubber non-slip ring did not melt against the hot exhaust parts. Tested in temperatures from Montana 20 degree snow to Florida 100+ in the sun.
Bottom line:- Highly recommended. These will save you from a broken burner with a big bill.

It works great. I only needed 1 but I have a spare now. Where I put it there is no need to be attached. The door to my water heater holds it in place. It looks good there and does a great job of keeping pests out of the vent.
