What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Valterra Replacement Springs for your screens that go on your rig. So we have one right here. We lost the spring, so it came off. We're gonna have to order replacements. We're gonna get eight of them, all different sizes, so you can get whatever one you need, and it's awesome just to have spares.
Now the new springs will work just like the old ones, so we're gonna attach it to our screen. So get it through one of those openings. Once that hooked on, we'll push the tool through. Make sure the cross beam in the center of that spring is facing the vent, so you can still use the tool to push out on the spring. I'm gonna show you that in just a second once I get it lined up.
The groove and the tool pushes on that, that way you can extend it and attach it. (metal clicking) Just like that. I do wanna say, you don't get the tool with this kit. There's another kit for replacement parts that comes with some springs and the tool, so that's out there as well, but it doesn't hurt to have some extra just so you can always keep the screens on there to keep bugs out. Well, I think that does it.

One problem was there was only 7 springs. The 2 larger ones and 5 of the small.
My wife caught that as we opened relaxing out on our deck.
So glad to find these fasteners at a reasonable price! They're impossible to find locally, and I live in a large city. They were easy to find on etrailer's website. My order was promptly processed and received much quicker than expected. Valterra & etrailer save the day! I still don't understand why the tech at our RV dealer didn't have the proper tool to remove and reinstall these springs, and ended up breaking both the springs to one of our vent screens.

etrailers price for these springs was cheaper with shipping than the shipping alone from every other source I found. Thank you. And they arrived in a couple of days.

These replacement springs work really well.
Good tension. Placed 2 springs instead of just one. Grill securely in place.
The quality of the produce was good, but I was unable to get these springs to work properly. It was a challenge to get two of them connected to the screen and have them tight enough to hold the screen in place. I finally removed the springs altogether and used stainless steel wire to attach the screens. This allowed me to twist the wire to tighten it, and put enough tension to hold the screen securely in place. Screens have not moved in many miles and months of travel.

The method I used of using stainless steel wire to fasten the screens instead of the springs, has worked great. Screens are still tight and haven’t moved. For me, the wire was a much easier solution than trying to get the springs to work.
The springs work as designed. There are different sizes in the box which was helpful. It does take time and patience putting the springs back in, but they work great!
SHIPPING TIME IS WAY TOO LONG, WHEN YOU TRY AND MAKE MONEY OFF OF SHIPPING AND PRODUCT AT THE SAME TIME, IT WILL COST YOU CUSTOMERS, EACH ORDER I HAVE MADE THROUGH YOUR COMPANY TAKES WAY TOO LONG TO ARRIVE.
Replaced a couple of rusted springs on my insect screens. Exact replacement. Good price to have a few extra on hand!
It was great to find your web site. We could not find, what we call, ‘bug screen springs’ anywhere. We received the product and it looks to be exactly what we were looking for. We ordered these to have extra springs if we need them. It’s great that they come in a couple of sizes, too.
Just what we needed! Now,we have replacement springs just incase one breaks/falls off again.
These are hard to find, but guess what? etrailer had them! Thanks etrailer!

I have been looking for extra spring fasteners for a while just to be sure the screens don't slip off.
Springs are springs your seem no different than anyone else's. I was surprised it took 6 weeks for a (very small) stock item to get delivered
Really just needed 2, but to have extra is always good. I also just needed the short ones, but again I'm sure I'll fined a use for them. Just what I needed.
Good pricing for product and shipping. Good communication. Everything as expected. Hope to do business again.
