Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Lend-a-Hand Mini Folding RV Handrail in the white color. Now, this nice foldout rail makes getting into and out of your RV safer and easier. This rail is designed to mount to the left of your RV's door, has a nice latching mechanism that'll secure the handle in the open position for use, and then the folded position for travel. There's no tools required to switch the positions. Basically, all you have to do is lift up on it, you have your two mount in, you just lift up on this and then rotate it.

You can see that'll rotate and lock in that position up against your RV and be out of the way. Now, when it is closed, just to give you an idea, it is only, sticks out only about 2 1/2 inches, and then when you go to use it, if you just lift up on this, rotate it this way, and then lock it into that position, when it's extended, it extends out from the RV about 10 1/2 inches. If you noticed, it has this nice black foam padding here on the white handle, gives you a nice firm, comfortable grip, so your hand doesn't slip. It is an aluminum construction, very lightweight and rustproof, has a nice white powder coat finish on it to resist corrosion. Now, it is a very simple installation, it will mount to your RV's sidewall with the included two inch screws.

This is an example of one of the screws that is included to attach that to your RV. Now, what you wanna do is line up with the existing holes from your original rail, or you'll need to drill 1/8 inch pilot holes. Now, when you do install this, caulk is recommended to seal those drill holes before installing your screws. Few overall specs on this, the overall height, if we go that way, bottom to top is about 18 1/2 inches tall, including the mounts is right about 22 inches tall, the tubing on this is a one inch diameter tubing. But again, just to show you, if you go to close it, just rotate it that way, and it'll lock into the lock position. And then when you go to open it, you can just lift it up, put it in the lock.
