Question:

I have purchased an E bike rack from you. Sport rider SE2 and noticed its not recommended for a fifth wheel trailer. Why? Was looking at the Hollywood web site and checking out the RV Rider and I got confused when I ordered your SE2. I think I can make it work, but I need a hitch. My bumper is 4 1/4inch X 4 1/4inch and was looking at the Curt RV Bumper hitch as my bumper is welded to the trailer frame. Will it fit? And should I cancel my bike rack and order the RV Rider instead?

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Bike Racks are indeed not rated for use on a fifth wheel trailer as is the case with many bike racks due to the decreased ride quality at the back of the trailer. Instead, you'll need to use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Platform Rack part # HLY64FR which is built much stronger.

In regards to a bumper hitch, most are either for a 4" x 4" or 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" as these are the standard sizes. That said, the RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # S64025 would work with a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" bumper as well with some spacers.
