Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at the Vitrifrigo C51i CHR mini fridge with the built-in freezer, giving you 1.8 cubic foot of space inside, running on 12 volts of power and a nice black finish. So folks, as you can see, this is a compact mini fridge. It has a built-in sliding flange for flush mount or recess mount. You can see that here on the side.
So my screw is way over here. This whole top plate, if I loosen it up, could potentially slide in about another one to two inches of space. Now you would need to use hardware to then mount this on the front fascia here and all these holes to whatever component area you're installing it into. That hardware is not included. You need to source that locally.
Now this can remain operational at angles all the way up to 30 degrees on a slant or a tilt, and that's gonna ensure consistent cooling. Now going to the inside, let me come around the front here, you're gonna have ample storage. You got a simple pull open door here on the front. Very easy, easy to close. So like I said, you have ample storage space.
It's gonna accommodate the essentials for like a short trip. You've got all your adjustable shelves here. This one can go down a couple options. And then you've got this wire one down here that you could put. And you've got these little sliding dividers here to help stuff from sliding around while you're driving around.
So these are just a nice feature that I like that they included and they just kind of pop right over the edge there and then you can set 'em as wide as you need. The grate inside is adjustable. Let me line it up here. (grate clacking) And same thing, you can adjust that up or down, apparently at a bad angle. I didn't get a level, so let me fix that real quick. (grate clacking) There we go. And you also have the built-in freezer option. Now as you can see it, it comes with the nice set of instructions and a little miniature ice tray, but again, it's a mini fridge and you're gonna be doing smaller things as far as storage space. So that'll be just enough probably for a couple people's drinks to get chilled out. And then of course, you got your temperature control there that's adjustable to make it colder as needed. Now you can have the option of swapping the door from left to right, follow the instructions included for doing that. Now I didn't have it hooked up today, again, because of it being a refrigerator or whatnot. And it does give you an interior LED light that makes it super easy to find your favorite snack or beverage or whatnot whenever it's dark. As you can see, they have a nice black steel exterior. It's gonna withstand the rigors of all off-road use or even marine conditions if you wanna put it inside of a boat maybe. And it's gonna resist corrosion. Now this is UL listed. You can see the compressor and all those cooling fans and whatnot back here on the back to run the mini fridge and freezer. You do need to allow about three inches of the space all the way around the exterior to kind of give it the proper ventilation you need. Now as far as some dimensions, let me get my tape measure here. Now I went ahead and measure this earlier, but just the cutout. So again, just the backside here with it at its fullest spot. So again, we can adjust this, we can bring it in tight, but just where I've got it here to the back, I got right around 20 inches deep. Now I was counting the backside of the fans and all that, so it was right about 20 inches deep. Here at the front, I got 20.5 inches tall. Overall on the height. And again that's just up to here to the base. I'm not counting the frame at this point and it's about 15 inches on the width overall. Now just the frame itself. Outside to outside, I got 17.5. And then on a height overall, I got 21.5. And I didn't do a depth because it's just about an 1/8 inch thick here on that little piece there. So again, overall, in the fridge, you have a lot of adjustability as far as installation and what it can fit into and everything. And it does run on 12 or 24 volt DC current. You get your power and ground wires there. And as you can see over here, I've got another bracket. From looking at the instructions and everything, it looks like this is gonna be a lower bracket to help finish that closed off look. Once you get everything installed, it would go down here under the door. And these two sides here, over here and here. Those kind of let the legs of the fridge slide in there to give it that nice finish look. So very nice little fridge. This is the Vitrifrigo C51i CHR mini fridge with built-in freezer. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
