Need to drain your RVs water lines for storage or winterizing? The Flair-It angle drain valve makes it easy to add a low-point drain. Just hand-tighten for a secure seal and empty your lines whenever you need.
Need to fully drain your RV's fresh-water system before winter or storage? The Flair-It angle drain valve makes it easy to add a low-point or tank drain. Just cut your 1/2" water line, slide on the nuts, push pipe onto the barbs, and hand-tighten the compression nuts for a leak resistant seal. Open the valve when it's time to empty your system and close it up when youre ready to hit the road again.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flair-it PEX drain angle valve fitting. This drain angle valve is gonna connect pipes and hoses in your RV fresh water plumbing system and allow you to control the flow of the water. This is going to work for repairing leaky connections or installing new lines. Will work with your PEX pipes, the old gray PB pipes and polyvinyl tubing. You can see we do have the two half-inch barbed connections that will fit your hoses and tubes with a half-inch inner diameter.
Having the barbed connections with the compression end here, it's gonna mean that you don't need any tools to get this installed. So basically the way this works, you'll just slide that compression end over your tube and then you'll get that barbed end inserted into the tube. And that might take a little bit of doing, might have to wiggle it back and forth and apply some pressure. But once you get that barbed end in, you can slide that compression end over and then get it tightened down. And that is gonna create a very solid connection for you.
I tried this out myself the other night. We had some spare PEX tube laying around, so I installed a very similar fitting. I was super impressed with how strong that connection is. So I was able to get it tightened down by hand. But then to get it removed, I actually had to use a couple vice grips.
So it was very solid. I think you'll be very pleased with it. One thing I will note is it can take quite a bit of force to get that barbed end inserted into your pipe. So I would recommend if you're gonna be working in a confined space, maybe try and get that fitting installed on your pipe before you get in that confined space so you have more elbow room to try and apply leverage to get that installed. But definitely can do by hand.
And it is going to give you a nice, solid connection. This is constructed of a polyoxyethylene construction so it is gonna be very durable and resistant to stress cracking. So it will hold up well and give you plenty of performance or longevity for a long time to come. Give you the ability to control that flow of your water just like you need. I do wanna point out, this is just one of the many connections that we have available here at etrailer.com. So if you're thinking through your project, think about what kind of connections you're gonna need to make, what kind of links of pipes you're gonna need. I would highly recommend you check out our other options, make sure that you're getting everything that you're gonna need for your project. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
I recently purchased a 2005 5th wheel trailer and as with all things 20 years old parts start to fail and needs replacing. I looked at all my local parts suppliers and was told that these valves are no longer available. Etrailer had them, they arrived quickly and are an exact replacement. You now have my business for all my repairs. I highly recommend this company for all your RV needs

That is so good to hear, Brian! I'm so happy we still have the parts you needed for your trailer. Are you making repairs as needed or are you doing a complete reno?
