Question:
Looking for a wireless backup camera to place on my pull behind camper Item # 324-000002 This one appears to need wired 12 volt to operate. Do you have any that are battery operated ? Thanks

Basically all of the reliable backup cameras for trailers are designed to run off a 12 volt power source. But there is a simpler approach to wiring up the camera that I think would be your best option that's not too difficult. If you use the running light circuit of the trailer wiring for the activation circuit for the camera it gives you ability to turn the camera off and on from within your truck in a very easy way. This works out well on the trailer side of the wiring because that circuit is present on every trailer and since it's ran to the back of them as well it's easy to run a wire from it to a backup camera.
For a camera kit I would recommend the Furrion Vision S part # FOS43TASF as this is our most reliable backup camera that also has the best reception.
Now with that said we do have one battery powered backup camera system with the Rampage part # RA7710 but the problem is battery life. It only lasts 4 hours on a full charge, requires your phone as a display, and the customer reviews we've had on it aren't the best. With that said there's absolutely no wires to mess with and it mounts really easy.
