Video Transcript for All You Need to Know About the Double Jerry Can Holder for ARB Base Platform Racks

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Horizontal Mounted Double Jerry Can Holder for your ARB Based Platform Racks. Now this double jerry can holder can carry extra fuel or water on your adventures and this is going to be a simple clamp on installation. It mounts onto two slats on your ARB Base Platform Rack and on your screen I'm including a few photos showing you what this is going to look like with two cans installed on this holder. And you can see that it is indeed secured by the included ratchet strap.

And those hooks go through the eye nuts there. So it's gonna be a very secure fit on your rack. Now I do have one jerry can here just to give you a real time look at what this is going to look like. So as you can see it slides right in. Then you'll use the included ratchet strap to tighten this down.

And so hopefully that gives you kind of an idea of what to expect, what this is going to look like. And this is a pretty durable holder. This is actually made out of black powder coated steel, so it's going to do a great job of resisting rust (metal clanking) and corrosion. You're not gonna have to take this off of your rack when you're not using it. It's going to be durable enough so you can keep it on there, even if it's not in use.

And it's going to resist the elements and last you quite a long time. I do wanna mention that an accessory bag is included. You could probably use this for when you do take this off of your rack, you could throw your ratchet straps in there or use this for other tools as well. That bag is not to go over your jerry cans or anything like that. It's too small for that, but it's just like a little accessory bag that they include.

You're gonna receive two of these strips here. And then just to go over some measurements with you so you have a good idea of the size, looking at the overall width, and we're looking at just the carrier itself. So just the overall width, we're sitting right at 14 and seven eights inches wide. Looking at the length, if I can get my tape measure there to cooperate with me. We're looking at right at about 19 inches long. And then the overall height of, again, just the carrier itself, we're sitting at about four inches tall. So again, this is going to hold two jerry cans in a horizontal position, but I wanted to also make you aware of some other options that we have. We do have this available for just one jerry can, so if you don't need a carrier for two, one is gonna be sufficient for you, you see that option there at the top of your screen. And then we have some options to vertically mount your Jerry can holder. So we've got a vertical mounted double jerry can holder that you see in the middle. Then finally at the bottom, a vertical mounted single jerry can holder. So quite a few options for you. The horizontal mounts is probably the most low profile you can get but we do have those other options available as well.
