Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this double Jerry can holder for your Front Runner platform racks and it is a horizontal mount design. Now, basically with this double Jerry can holder, you could carry extra fuel to allow you to travel further. This one here is designed for use with the 5.3 gallon NATO and Wedco style military cans. And to install, it's a very simple bolt-on installation, mounts into your platform's top channels using the included hardware. And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert and show you this installed with the Jerry cans on top of the platform rack.

You can see how it's all installed and held into place. They do use these heavy duty steel straps here which will secure the cans in position, keeps it easy and accessible. It holds the Jerry cans into horizontal position. And the strap will actually cover the Jerry can lids to prevent siphoning. The attached cross strap right here prevents any side-to-side movement.

And it's very easy to install. You can see on the front here the two latches. If you just pull up on this and unlatch it, you can lift up, do the same here. You can lift both of them up. They're just hooked here on the back to hold them into place and you just lift the whole thing up, put your Jerry cans in, drop it down there, latch it, and you're all ready to go.

They use adjustable stainless steel latch locks and what's nice about it that you can see there's holes on each side of them. Those holes will allow you to put a cable type lock through there, which we sell separately. It's a small accessory lock. And again, we sell it separately. It's part number FR33HJ.

Show you what we're talking about. That's what the lock looks like, and you can run it through the hole there and it keeps anybody from unlatching it and accessing your Jerry cans. The plate or the holder itself and the straps are all a nice black powder coated steel construction, which will resist corrosion. And as we mentioned, the capacity on this, it'll hold two 5.3 gallon NATO and Wedco Jerry cans. Now, it is not suitable for the scepter style containers. Last thing I wanna do is just give you some dimensions on this. If we measure the overall length of it from this end to this end right here, it is about 20-2/16 inches. The width this way is 13-1/8 inches wide. And the overall height from the bottom to the very top is right at 14-5/8 inches tall.
