Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Landing Pad 34 for your Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers. Now, this has been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Land Rover Defender and on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So if you're looking to add a Yakima roof rack system to a vehicle such as your Defender that has flush factory side rails, these custom fit landing pads are what make that possible.
They serve as the connection point between the vehicle and your SkyLine or Control Towers, which will obviously be a separate purchase from this. So your Defender already has those fixed mounting points built into those sleep flush rails. So these landing pads are gonna bolt right into those points and create a secure, precise base for your roof rack towers. They're gonna attach right to those fixed mounting points inside the factory rail so there's no guesswork, no drilling, and once installed, they're gonna give you the proper mounting points for those SkyLine or Control Towers, and each pad is UV resistant plastic, so this is gonna hold up really well to the elements that's gonna be constantly exposed to, and as you saw, these do have those snap-on covers so when your towers are off, these are going to stay protected and your roof is gonna look nice and neat.
