The aerodynamic shape helps manage airflow so you don’t get that loud whistling sound you sometimes hear from roof racks. Push-down rubber strips fill in the top channels to minimize vibration and reduce wind noise while you drive. It’s a design built for quiet trips on the highway or long drives to your next camp spot.
These crossbars handle all kinds of gear. The top channels accept channel-mount accessories, while the bar shape works with clamp-on mounts too. That means you can carry bike racks, kayak carriers, ski mounts, or cargo boxes—whatever the trip calls for—without needing special adapters.
Each bar is made from durable aluminum and can support up to 165 lbs, as long as it’s within your vehicle’s roof load limit. The construction feels solid under load—ideal for hauling outdoor gear, camping setups, or watercraft.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores to help deter theft of both the rack and any channel-mounted accessories. It’s an easy upgrade that gives you peace of mind when you’re parked overnight or exploring away from your vehicle.

You definitely want to use the gaskets and I dont recommend using the crossbars without them. Here is an install video that might help you out with this part. Let us know if you still some assistance after watching.

Ive had the rail system on my truck for about a year now and its been a tremendous help. It allows me to still use my bed and provides much needed extra storage space, mostly for all the dog items we carrycrates, gates, beds, food, etc. I like the fact the rail locks to the truck so I dont need to remove them at home or at our destination.

The rack base has worked perfectly. I took my Yakima rack off my Tacoma and transferred it to a Honda Pilot and eTrailer had the correct bracket.

I have used the landing pads with a fully loaded basket and awning. We went on a road trip from Rialto, CA to Los Cabos San Lucas, BC with no signs of failure. I guess, dont judge a book by its covers. Well designed. Thats 1100 miles one way. Some parts of the roads were not that great but everything held up.
