Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the replacement key for your Yakima racks or carriers, specifically key number A153. Now, a lot of people will say, "Well, Steven, how do I know which key I need" Well, hopefully you already have one, and you're just getting another backup key, so you already have the number. But if not, it is on the side of the lock core itself. Now, obviously, if it's locked down, you don't have access to that.
The best way, honestly, in my opinion, is call a locksmith. Have them get it unlocked, order a change key from us. Get that lock core pulled out so you can match up the number with the correct key. That being said, you're gonna get quantity one replacement key A153. It's engraved right there below my little sticker.

Simple replacement key purchase, and etrailer had the best price on the web. But the economy shipping was sooooo slowwww. I will say however that when I called etrailer to help track the item, customer service was excellent.
The key works exactly in my sky box as expected. I had to buy the SKS control key to take the lock core out to figure out the right Yakima key to order in the first place though.
