Product works as expected on a 2010 Lancer GTS Sportback. Only issue I ran into was finding that the larger fin on the side of the receiver was slightly bent. When fitting it, I found I could not line up the last screw hole and it was off by about a 1/2". This was remedied easily with a heavy hammer and a solid surface. I didn't take off any points since this could have easily happened in shipping and been no fault of the manufacturer. From an installation perspective, this installed exactly as expected from the instructions. There was a required hole that needed to be widened on the frame. If purchasing be aware that you will likely have to widen a hole beneath the car that will require a tool to grind or cut about 3/8" thick steel to fish over some bolts. Making the hole was the longest part of the job. You will likely need a second person assisting when mounting the hitch since it does require a bit of coordination to hold the fished bolts, work the nuts and hold up the receiver. Also be aware that to meet the bolt/nut torque guidelines you will need a pretty big wrench or decent impact wrench. Of course all of this is in the manual that is available to view online before purchase, so there should be no surprises.

5/8 " single hole had to be elongated 1/2" for mounting.Poor quality control,try your product on a real car before selling to public.American junk,thats why I buy only German/Japanese products when available.

Came in a spacious cardboard box with little to no packing material. Was scraped up and dusty upon opening the box which while not preferred is fine due to it being placed under my car.

Be aware you need to drill open one of the mounting holes to thread in the mounting hardware.

Hi Michael; I'm sorry to say that the Curt # C11479 also has the fore to aft muffler restriction. There are no custom fit hitches available that will allow you to carry a bike rack on your 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer. However, it may be possible to have a custom hitch fabricated locally using the # E-9 (2" receiver) or # E-911 (1-1/4" receiver). All the trailer wiring harnesses we offer for the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer would install in the same manner. The harnesses would all connect inline at the connection of the vehicle's taillight harness and the taillight assemblies.
