Hello neighbors, Steve here with Etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this replacement strap assembly with a narrow hook for the Thule Trunk Bike Racks. So folks, this strap here, blue in color, will replace the bottom strap assembly with the narrow hook here for your Thule Trunk Bike Rack. It is a metallic with a nice powder coat finish and the nice web double stitch strap here is gonna fit the Thule Archway, Gateway, Passage and Speedway bike racks. Now, there's lots of different part numbers of those racks. You can find them here on the product page, in the description and the fitments.
Make sure you're double checking that fitment to make sure you're getting the right one for your specific rack. It is a nice length here. It's a direct part from Thule, a direct replacement part, so you can be sure it's gonna work with those racks that I mentioned. Straps 753-0035-07 and TH7532184 arrived on time and were exact replacements.
However I didn’t know that 753-0035-07 was 1 part of 2 strap assembly.
This bike rack attaches to a trunk at three locations. I assumed that I was buying all the required replacement straps.
Do you sell the third part?
The strap was well made but hook on the end of the strap didn't match the hook on the strap we were trying to replace. We ended up replacing the old Thule bike rack with a hitch-mounted rack.
Good company well designed pics helped me order the right straps and connectors…very quick turnaround from order to delivery…I will be using site and company again. Thanks for the help

It was great to find these here as one of my straps broke as it was brittle after over 25+ years of use. Purchasing 2 straps have given my bike rack many more years of use!
I love the product, but I had to order another strap, as I ordered two a while back, and - much to my surprise - what I thought was two was just one with the other half that the strap connects to.
They gave our old Thule rack new life. Just as advertised.
I bought these to replace old straps that were sun oxidized and fraying. This is one of the only retailers that has the older style Thule replacement straps for sale online. This year after around 100 trips, these straps are holding up like new.

Another year and these straps are holding up great but the coating on the ends has completely worn off to expose rusted metal.

Just what we needed to rescue our old bike rack whose straps had rotted out. 4 not 5 stars because it's hard to put on one of the straps.
This replacement strap assembly for my Thule bike carrier is identical to the original. It is clearly a Thule original. This is the strap with the narrow gray hook sewn attached to it (does not include the wider black hook which buckles onto the strap). Shipping was fast, and now my bike carrier is as good as new.
