MAXXAIR RV Vents and Fans - MA76JR

  • Roof Vent
  • Vent Cover
  • 14W x 14L Inch
  • White
  • MAXXAIR
  • Plastic

Durable, UV-resistant cover lets you run your RV roof vent any time and in any weather. Angled louvers allow smoke, heat, and odors to escape while keeping rain and debris out. EZClip pins allow the cover to be opened or removed for easy maintenance.

Features:

  • Cover lets you open and run your RV roof vent at any time and in any weather
    • Compatible with non-powered roof vents and low or high-powered ventilation fans
  • Large vent area is twice the size of vent areas on standard covers
    • Side vents create cross-ventilation
  • Angled louvers allow smoke, heat, and odors to escape while keeping rain and debris out
  • EZClip pins make it simple to open or remove cover for roof vent maintenance
    • Creates a hinge when pins are removed on one side for easier opening
  • Durable, high-density polyethylene construction is UV resistant
    • Protects your roof vent from hail, falling branches, and other debris
  • Simple no-drill installation on MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents - hardware included
    • Drilling required on all other standard roof vents
  • White color
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Application: fits over most standard 14" x 14" roof vents
    • Designed specifically to fit 2015 and newer MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents with mounting tabs
    • Can be used with high-powered, low-speed (3- or 4-speed) fans
  • Overall dimensions: 22" long x 17-12" wide x 9-3/4" tall
  • 6-Year limited warranty

Note: Some vents may not open fully when used with this vent cover. If opened 50% or more, the vent will still achieve maximum airflow.

Large Vent Area

The MaxxAir II has a vent area that is twice the size of the vent area on standard covers. This provides more airflow in and out of your RV or trailer, and the side vents provide cross-ventilation for even more airflow. The angled louvers allow smoke, heat, and odors to escape while keeping rain and debris out.

EZClip Pins Simplify Opening

EZClip Opening

This MaxxAir II vent cover comes with 4 EZClip pins. These pins enable you to easily open or remove the cover. When the pins are removed from one side, the opposite side acts as a hinge, allowing you unobstructed access to your roof vent for cleaning and maintenance. To secure the cover closed, slide the pins back into the cover and push them up to lock them in place.

Installation on 2015 or Newer MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus Roof Vents

Mounting Tabs/EZClip

The MaxxAir II vent cover is specifically designed for installation on 2015 and newer-model MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents - no drilling or tools are required. The integrated mounting brackets on the MaxxAir II perfectly align with the mounting tabs that are molded onto the flange of the roof vent. To install, fit the cover over the roof vent. Then slide the included EZClip pins through the tabs and rotate them up to secure the cover in place.

Installation on Older Model MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus Roof Vents

Pre-Drilled Holes

If you're installing this cover over an older model MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus roof vent without mounting tabs, no drilling is required, and all necessary hardware is included. The MaxxFan roof vent has pre-drilled holes in the side wall that are hidden under plastic plugs. Just remove the plugs and fasten the aluminum brackets to the side wall with stainless steel screws. Then insert the EZClip pins through the brackets to secure the cover in place.

Installation on All Other Standard Roof Vents

Bracket Installation

If you're installing this MaxxAir II cover over any other roof vent, then drilling into the frame of the roof vent is required to mount the aluminum brackets. Stainless steel screws, nuts, and washers are included to install the cover. However, if you're installing the cover over a high-powered, high-speed ventilation fan, use the included self-tapping screws to mount the cover instead.

We have had these on our Brinkley Model G3500 for the past year and they have worked great! Our last RV we always fought with the cheaper model fan and flimsy covers during rain storms and ever won. With the MaxxAir fans and covers we no longer have that fight. Our problem now is the fans are too good and suck the heat and cold right out! Great product and I have had zero issues with them.

by:

I bought one as an experiment. It was easy to install and functioned just as I had wished. I immediately ordered two more for my trailer. They arrived within 3-4 days. I have been very happy with etrailer and their products and service.
I think every new trailer should have the MaxxAire vent covers as standard equipment.

by:

Received unit and was slightly skeptical of its fit. after cleaning the inside of the fan cover, I installed new Max AirII with the built-in tabs on my unit and the locking clips. test ran vent cover up and down. mine does stop as it touches the Max Air, as designed. have to wait for a rainstorm to test again and see if it stays open. as designed the sensor would always close it, so couldn't vent moisture out, while showering. If it works as I hope, I will buy another one for my kitchen vent. pricing is the best I have found so far. E-Trailer, you're the best!!

by:

Very easy to install with the Max air2 vent fan .

by:

Great covers that allow for safe ventilation while rv is in storage or on the road.

by:

Great vent cover and very easy installa tion.

by:

On time, perfect fit, and made in USA.

by:

Ups got my delivery a day later than I paid for.... supposed to fit, but I had to trim the cover to fit.... not complaining about the cover, once trimmed it fit but should have fit out of the box according to the expert.... wish it had screen, but, I'll add it later....

by:

The vent cover is a quality product and was very easy to install.

by:

Easy install using existing tabs.

The MaxxAir vents have been working out no trouble with them at all, they hold up to wind and rain and keep things dry.

by:

Not the greatest place to buy parts. After spending sometime on the phone trying to order the correct MaxxAir II fan cover I was still sent the wrong item. I returned the item and was charged over half the price of the vent fan price itself in coverage on shipping. I was never informed that if the part was incorrect it would be up to me to pay postage to return. Unacceptable in my book.

by:

Exact replacement.

by:

Sorry to say they were the wrong ones for my Rv. The dealership told me the wrong ones. My Rv has different fans then they said it did.

by:

Works as supposed to; Maxxair does not allow power vent/fan to open ALL the way but don't know if it really matters.

by:

A bit more translucent than opaque. Will allow light in.

Great, installation was simple.

by:

Fit perfectly over my rain sensing powered roof vents. Took longer to get up on the roof of my RV than it did to install the covers. All I had to do was slide supplied spring clips into the existing slots

by:

Easy Install with no holes in the roof.

by:

Received products quick and had a great followup by etrailer crew.

They held up very well and allowed us to leave vents open while traveling and in the rain. We traded the camper in on a new 5th wheel so we need to buy them again

@MikeC We're glad they worked well for you while you had them!

by:

Ready install, worked as advertised. I had to be careful that the cover did not interfere with the existing vent cover - the maxair had to be placed as far to the rear of the existing vent to allow the existing cover to clear the maxair - not much wiggle room.

by:

As Described, Fast Shipping, Great Product & Service I will use Etrailer again, Thanks

by:

Very happy with the service from beginning to end!

  • RV and Trailer Roof Vent Covers Compatible With Mounting Flanges on MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus Fans
Yes, the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ EZClip In White # MA76JR, Black # MA86JR and Smoke # MA26JR will attach to the mounting tabs already found on MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents. You may not be able to fully open the roof vent with these covers and the MaxxFan roof vents. For the lid on the MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents to fully open you will want to use the MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover in White # MA00-955001, Black # MA00-955002 or Smoke #...

  • Are Any RV Roof Vent Covers Over 11" Tall
RV roof vent covers throughout the industry max out at 10-1/4" tall so you'd be limited to this height. Manufacturers know that this won't allow for the vent lid to fully open but have stated that as long as the lid is opened at least 50% there will be no issues with performance. I recommend matching the cover to the brand of vent you have to make installation easier. For MaxxAir I recommend the following: Black # MA86JR Smoke # MA26JR White # MA76JR For Dometic/Fan-Tastic Vent I recommend...

  • Should I Use Smoke or White MaxxAir Roof Vent and Vent Cover
Both the smoke and white colors will be the same in regards to how much heat gets through and will be relatively similar when it comes to light, although the smoke will naturally be a little darker. Since you'll be using the roof vent AND a cover though you won't see as much light either way so my recommendation is to use whichever matches the color scheme of your trailer better. This will work with a Ventline but won't attach to side tabs. The MaxxAir II part # MA76JR only works with the MaxxAir RV Roof Vents and has unique mounting brackets that match those vent assemblies.
