Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer Gas Strut. Now this is a gas strut, basically the support arm that you see holding up things like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. Its main job is to make opening and closing smoother and safer. This is built to last with a durable black finish and the overall length measuring center of socket to center of socket is right at 17 inches, and this is going to give you about 60 pounds of lifting force.
That's gonna help take some of the weight off when you're lifting something like a cargo door or bed platform. Instead of it slamming shut, the strut is going to control the movement, so it's going to open easily and close in a more controlled way. It's gonna be pretty flexible as well. You're gonna be able to use this on your RV beds, entry doors, truck caps, or really any compartment that needs a little lift assistance. As you can see, this is going to be a ball and socket installation, but it's gonna be compact and it's gonna fit nicely, even in tighter or hidden spaces.
But I think it's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
