Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement service package for the Jensen RV Stereos. Now this will replace the service pack on your Jensen RV stereo. It will work on models JWM40 or the JWM41. Both of those we do sell separately on our website. This part here will include the power harness and the remote.
Now on the remote, the battery is included. There is a little clear slide here that you slide out to activate it. On the wiring harness, you can see it is color coded and even labeled for quick installation. But that should do it for the review of this replacement service package for the Jensen RV stereos..

Glad to tell you what I think, aside of the speedy delivery the remote control is a piece of junk, the buttons are backwards when it does work, which is very seldom very disappointed.??
This is the right remote for my system, thanks to Adam E who helped me on the phone, but I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 because the remote arrived with the plastic slip (that keeps the battery from running down before it gets used), but without the battery! Usually, the battery size & type required is stamped or printed on the remote's underside, but not in this case. After trying a couple of button type batteries, I found the CR-2032 battery fit, & the remote controls the Jensen dvd player. Thanks again to Adam E!
The remote for my Jensen Jwm40 radio/cd/dvd that I ordered is the exact one as the original. I put a battery in it and it worked perfect. Jamie was very helpful in getting me the correct replacement!

The product received is exactly what I ordered. Replacement remote works great. Only comment I would make is length of time it took to ship the remote to me. From date of order It took 15 days to receive it. Now days Amazon’s 1 or 2 day delivery makes 2 weeks obsolete.

I purchased a remote for my Jensen RV radio. It did not come with the battery which I thought it should’ve, but I purchased one separately.
The only problem is the remote didn’t come with documentation, and nowhere on the remote did it say what type of battery I needed.
I finally got a battery and tried to use remote but it wouldn’t work much to my dismay.
However I went online and downloaded the radio manual and they suggested a reset. I did the reset and the remote is working perfectly now .
I like that etrailer followed up with my purchase, and had I not found the solution myself, I am sure they would’ve been more than helpful to walk me through it.
I will definitely purchase from them again.

The remote is still working great after a year, and we haven’t had to change the battery even. Great product and company.

Quick service, however, no battery in the package. According to the video, all I had to do was pull the plastic thingy out, and good to go. NOT...

This remote works just great I hD no problems setting it up. I purchased it because I lost the first one the first time we took out trailer out. My bad.
Needed the part, they had it stock, priced reasonably, I received it quickly. What more could you ask for.
