This is the replacement ECU for the old Firestone F3 system with remote. This system primarily works off of Bluetooth from your phone or other device such as an iPad. If you walk away with your truck running, your Bluetooth will disconnect. I recommend using an old iPad or old phone and leaving it in your truck for the sole purpose of running the air system. You can re-use everything else from your old setup including compressor, bags, mounts, and air lines. The product itself works great, but it will not come with instructions, they are available on-line just google the Firestone P/N and “installation instructions” The old remote will NOT work, a new remote is available for an additional cost but it’s honestly not worth the price tag. This worked out great for me and saved me from having to put a completely new system on my truck. You should have some electrical supplies on hand to tap into an ignition only source if you don’t already have one in place. It’s straightforward, take your time and secure everything appropriately.
Overall - good product line. This was a replacement ECU. Not sure why the original failed. I’ve never had one fail before.
2nd unit has failed
This was exactly the part that I needed. It's always a great experience with you guys. I'm a customer for life.
