Question:

I purchased and installed Firestone 2592 Air Command F3 wireless xtreme duty in Oct 2019. It now continuously runs and only one side stops on ed 10 lbs of pressure. I have to pull the fuse to stop it. After some research I think I need the F58VV ECU as a replacement and F54ZV wireless remote. Is there also an App that can be used with this new ECU? Thanks Tom.

Hey Thomas! The 2592 was a dual path system so for a replacement you need the following:

-Replacement Dual-Path ECU Service Pack for Firestone Air Command Dual-Path Air Compressor Systems # F58VV

-Replacement Remote for Firestone F3 Air Command Air Compressor Systems # F54ZV

This is the same remote but with the dual path ECU. I did verify this with Firestone and confirmed that once you upgrade the parts you will be able to control it via their app as well.

Did you make sure to test for leaks with soapy water? I would go ahead and do that to make sure a less expensive repair wouldn't fix the issue first.

I have checked for leaks and none found. Right side just keeps building pressure no matter what the selected setting is. Will not stop until fuse is pulled. Thanks
