Hi everyone, Steven here with the etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the replacement right side ratchet winch for the Demco Kar Kaddy 3, Kar Kaddy SS, and the Kar Kaddy X tow dolly. So folks, again, this is the right hand ratchet. We do carry the left side, item number DM5432 sold separately. And literally the only difference is obviously it's kind of like a mirror image of this one. So obviously you need to make sure you get the right one for the right side that you're wanting to use it for.
(ratchet clanking) And as you can see, very simple to operate. Strap obviously goes inside the slot there, just like your old one. And then of course you get the pin here for locking everything in place once you get it ratcheted down and everything exactly where you need it and as tight and secure as you need. So again, this is securing the wheel tie down onto that dolly frame. And once again, it works with the Car Caddy SS, the Kar Kaddy 3 or the Kar Kaddy X.

Poor build and design. Ratches are flimsy and difficult to release. I've replaced these twice now. Plus they are overpriced.

Everything was what I ordered and fits
I only needed one small part but was forced to buy the entire assembly.
Just received it. Time Will Tell how good it is from use. Past toe dolly’s I had parts seem to be made better.
Great item, heavy duty, better than OEM.
Exactly the part I ordered. High quality. Old winch was damaged on road. Removed bolt which allowed damaged winch to be removed and new winch installed. Add on new strap and back to towing my car behind RV. RV and tow dolly parts etrailer has been spot on!
