Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the CE Smith replacement guide-on mounting bracket. This is going to replace one of the mounting brackets for your CE Smith pontoon boat trailer guide-ons. This will do a great job of holding those guide-ons in place on your trailer so that you can easily get your pontoon boat mounted in place. Now, this could also potentially work for other one and 1/2 inch square tube guide-ons that are not CE Smith brand, but this is gonna be a really nice durable option.
It's constructed of an 11 gauge pre-galvanized steel, so it's gonna be very rust-resistant, which is obviously very important for those pontoon boat trailers. Our length here, we're looking at right at six and 3/8 of an inch. Our mounting holes here are spaced right about three inches center to center for those center holes. Those outer holes center to center, looking at right about four inches apart, so if you are looking for a replacement for those one and 1/2 inch square tube guide-ons, whether they're CE Smith or another brand, this is gonna be a great option to make sure that that pontoon boat guide-on is gonna be nice and sturdy..
I used the pontoon brackets for my trailer. They were wider so I could use the brackets with the u-bolts that came with the 1” bracket set.
These are heavy duty brackets that last forever !!
These are great brackets! I didn't use them for their intended purpose but the were exactly what I needed to mount an awning.
