Speaker 1: Today, we are going to take a look at the Camco 00:00:49 Low Pressure LP gas regulator with the 12 foot long hose. Now this 12 foot long hose will let you connect your Olympian Wave Gas Heater or any large gas barbecue grill to a type one propane cylinder. It does install very quickly and easily. It does include the low pressure regulator. This is rated for 70,000 BTU an hour maximum outlet flow and it will maintain a constant 11 inch water column outlet pressure. It is equipped with an excess flow protection for safety.
Now the inlet right here is a type one Acme connector with the coupling nut that attaches to your cylinder. And then the outlet right here has a 3/8th inch female swivel nut connector. But that should do it for the review on the Camco Low Pressure LP gas regulator with the 12 long hose.

Got this for a Wave 3 heater. works fine. Since I was dealing with heater, I didn't want to mess around with a 3rd party product and stuck with what would've originally come with the product.
Good product at a fair price. etrailer is very easy to work with if there is ever a problem!
This is not my first order from etrailer and the orders are always filled quickly. The products have always been good quality and work as expected.

(Definitely very good service order this hose/regulator for my heater and I arrived 2 days earlier than planned .... Paula was very kind and give very good service. Thank you so much)
Had been experiencing an uncontrollable grill for some time with a regulator that measured 14" W.G.
Located this new 11"W.G Low pressure regulator from etrailer and I can now cook with better temperature control.
The propane hose we got for our camco propane heater is just what we were looking for. etrailer has very competitive prices and excellent shipping.
Work as intended for.
the process of ordering was easy and the delivery was timely
8’ hose was out of stock and several days out… so we bumped up to the 12’ for a few $$$ more and got it shipped the same day…then it arrived early to… :-)
Came quickly and works great. Would recommend.
Works great. Used it to connect a fire pit. Just what I needed. Excellent quality
just what I was looking for and needed for my two burner gas grill that we use on our travel trailer.
1st time used etrailer was very nervous for ordered a [fifth wheel hitch slider]. No need to worry! It came in two huge packages. I was impressed. Excellent job! I ordered a hose for my propane heater 2nd order & it was also prompt & am very happy with etrailer. Very competitive pricing also to my local shops.
Works perfect to run a Mr. Heater 30,000 BTU (5 panel) Radiant LP GAS Vent-Free Wall Heater!
Customer Service person Diana was a pleasure and she checked with the manufacturer for me to be sure the regulator was rated adequately to supply this heater. It supplies it just fine and is great quality!
If your LP gas has lots of moisture you might need to look into a two stage regulator with a vent for the moisture to seep out, and make note of where the vent is horizontally or vertically placed. And follow all local codes and regulations. I'm not a LP gas professional...these are just my opinions.
Initially I thought 12 feet of hose would be too long, but it worked out perfectly. My RV with two electric heaters on low warmed up to 37 degrees (F) inside, when the outside dropped to -20 degrees. The next day with two 20A power circuits and two electric heaters on high (1500 watts) it warmed up to a toasty 42 degrees. The next day (same -20 outside) with my Camco hose and regulator feeding my 25kbtu propane furnace my temperature climbed to 69 degrees and held between 65 and 69 degrees. I bumped the setpoint and ran between 68 and 72. My furnace loves this hose and regulator. FTR Watts * 3.14 = BTUs (close enough)... 25kbtu is like 5.3 electric heaters running at 1500 watts each. 7.5 gallons of LPG (propane) lasted about 15 hours at -20 outside. 7.5 gallons was all I could use from a 9 gallon tank at those cold outside temperatures. I can use 9 gallons at 40 degrees outside and I'm getting seven days on a 9 gallon tank. I found out the hard way that catalytic heat for long term coats my lungs and rusts the metal door panels of my RV. That's why I migrated to a furnace for heat.

My product didnt work out. It worked from October 2023 to May 2024 at which point it stopped working. A two stage replacement designed for a 25Kbtu furnace has been working now for ten days. Contact with etrailer referred me to Camco for warranty. Camco doesnt warranty improper application, confirming my hose was inadequate for a 25K furnace. So back to etrailer who cited a 60 day return policy and nothing to be done beyond 60 days. So $71 for the wrong part. Etrailer isnt responsible for knowing the correct part. Good to know, but my original 5 star review citing my 25kbtu application should actually be two stars, because etrailer was very nice and efficient at selling me the wrong part.

It failed after 3 months. I didnt know I needed a 2-stage gas valve for my 25kbtu furnace. The replacement is working fine.

Perfect. My 18,000 btu cabinet heater works great with the 3/8” x 12’ propane hose and regulator combined with the 3/8” x 20’ hose, total length 32’ No degradation in heater performance.

Gary,Thank you for your review. You are correct. When installing a 2 stage regulator such as part #CAM59005 you want to make sure it is mounted with vent hole face down. This will allow water to drain from the regulator. Regulators are sealed for moisture protection.
