Question:
Interested in the high pointe oven for a hunting cabin-can I simply set it on a table with adequate clearance and hook to a 20 lb propane tank? Do you guys sell the hose , connections, and regulator for a proper hook up? Thanks!

Hi Tom, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can set the High Pointe Propane RV Range # HP28RR on a sturdy table as long as you maintain proper clearance around it and have a way to keep it from sliding or tipping. A lot of folks do this in cabin or off-grid setups. The oven itself runs on propane, but it does require 12V power for the igniter and LED display, so you’ll want a small battery or power supply to handle that. That or have another way to light it on hand.
For the propane hookup, I recommend the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator with 12' Hose # CAM57721. It has a built-in regulator and will connect directly to a standard 20 lb propane tank, giving you plenty of flexibility on where you place the tank relative to the stove.
What kind of stuff do you usually cook at the cabin? Do you have a way to get 12v power to the oven?
