Your propane cylinder and regulator need a hose between them. This 18" high-pressure pigtail connects a POL cylinder valve to a regulator with a 1/4" female inverted flare inlet, supplying propane to your RV system.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at our MEC propane pigtail hose in an 18 inch long length. So folks, when it's time to replace that high pressure hose between the propane cylinder and the RV regulator, one of the most important things is to check the connection on both ends. So this pigtail is going to give you a specific combination if you use a POL cylinder connection and a quarter inch male inverted flare regulator as far as the inlet. So again, on the propane tank side, you'll have this male hard nose POL fitting with a seven eighth inch nut that feeds directly into the internal POL connection on that cylinder.
So just like the image on the screen. And as I got that on the screen, I'll let you know about the leak detection as well. I highly recommend any propane connections you make, whether it's by wrench or by hand, you always want to make sure you use some leak detection fluid, be sure everything's nice and safe and that you're not breathing in deadly fumes and stuff. On the other end, you're going to have that quarter inch male inverted flare. This usually connects to a compatible quarter inch female inverted flare inlet on your propane regulator, whether it's on your camper RV and those kind of things.
So before you order, make sure that's the right connections. This is an 18 inch long. We sell these in multiple lengths from 12 inch all the way up to I believe at least three or four foot and even then longer. So check them all out here separately. This is a thermoplastic hose.
It's been fully crimped with brass furls on both ends. So it's strong, it's safe, it meets all high pressure regulations. It's UL and CGA approved as well. So again, 18 inches long, works well when you have your cylinder and your regulator pretty close together and you don't want extra stuff that you got to coil up or get in your way. Folks, that's going to wrap up our look together.
I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching.
