Video Transcript for Review of Access Mud Flaps - Custom Fit Commercial Grade Full Width - A48VA

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our Access Rockstar commercial grade mud flap. Now these are what's considered a full width mud flap. These are custom fit, so make sure you're checking out the fit guide here at etrailer.com. I'll step back so you can kind of see this in its full, full length. And while you're checking out the fit guide there, again, type in your year, make, and model on our fit guide on the homepage and enter things that it asks you.

This does work with or without fender flares and it fits dually and non-dually alike, so just follow the instructions and you should be good to go. Now as far as overall length, I got 94 inches long end to end, and at the tallest part here or on the other side, I got right at 18 and three quarter inches tall. Now, taking out a look at our hardware, you get all the nuts, bolts hardware. Keep in mind, I've preassembled a lot of this. I just left some of these brackets that would be installed on the vehicle side.

And then you would use the pins that would go through some of these different brackets on the backside. That way you could then take it on or off as needed. And of course the heat shield would be installed on the backside of the assembly, but again, I wanted to leave it off just so you can kind of see the makeup of it. And this would be on the side with the exhaust coming out as far as that goes. And I'm gonna lay this down so I can pick up the whole thing and show you the backside real quick.

Again, keep in mind this is not fully assembled, so bear with me. So you have these two stabilizer bars along the backside and everything here is a nice powder coat finish, so you shouldn't have to worry about rust, corrosion. And of course the rubber is a half inch thick smooth rubber, so that's gonna reduce flapping and decrease ice and mud buildup and protect everything behind you, whether you're towing a vehicle, boat, those kind of things, and just other pedestrians on the roadways. In the middle here, you can kind of see that little silver, there's a block inside of there that goes through both sides, so you have two sides here, obviously, right where the rubber meets in the middle, and that's what's holding those together. And then on the end, you do get some caps, and you see that gap, that's because I don't have that last bolt that's needed in place to complete that install.

So you will have these plastic end caps that are trapezoid shape, and they will go right into the end cap, and then another bolt that's here on the table would go in there to complete that installation. And everything comes pre-drilled, the square holes for the carriage bolts, the slots here for the brackets that go through, whether they come through the front or back, again, check the instructions as far as that goes. But again, folks, a full width commercial grade mud flap to keep everything nice and protected. A great addition, a great investment for your stuff that you're towing and just for the vehicle in general. And again, you can simply pull two pins once it's installed, pull the whole mud flap assembly off, store it when you don't need it, and those kind of things. So a great option for you.
