Today we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith Frame Straps. The frame straps are designed to be used with U-Bolts to secure accessories to your trailer frame. These particular straps are designed to fit 4 inch frames. They're made from a corrosion resistant galvanized steel. It's very strong and durable. It's going to be corrosion resistant as well, so it's going to be great for marine use or any application that's exposed to moisture.
You're going to get two frame straps so both straps are included. The product is made right here in the USA. Few measurements to go over with you real quick. Starting with the distance that we have. Center on center between the holes. That's going to give a measurement of around 4 1/2 inches.
Overall length from edge to edge is going to measure 6 inches. The width of each strap is going to measure an inch and a 1/4. The diameter of the holes, that's going to measure 9/16 of an inch. The steel plate, that's going to measure a 1/4 of an inch thick. Now these are designed to accept U-Bolt with an inner width measurement of 4 1/8 of an inch.
