Could Thule Xsporter Ladder Rack Be Used with Roof Top Tent
Ladder racks are great solutions for roof rack style tents. They have higher capacities than roof racks and typically much wider bars too which helps. I was able to find several pictures online of people doing this as well but for proprietary reasons I can't post them here. You wouldn't want to try to raise and lower the ladder rack with the tent installed though as that will be dangerous.

Can Thule TracRac SR Ladder Rack be Installed on 2007 Toyota Tacoma
I believe you are referring to the Deck Rail system on your 2007 Toyota Tacoma. For that you can use the Toyota Tacoma Mount Kit # TH34000 which allows you to then install either a TracONE or Xsporter Pro ladder rack, but unfortunately there is no way to install the TracRac SR on your Tacoma. If the rack that was on your 2005 Toyota Tacoma was the Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH500XTB-THXK3 you can purchase 8 of the Replacement Black Bed Rail Clamp for Thule Xsporter Ladder Racks # 8523159002 which will allow you to install the rack properly on the bed of your 2003 Toyota Tacoma. I confirmed this with my contact at Thule. If you have a different model Thule rack please let me know the model and I would be happy to see if there are any options to adapt it to work...

Ladder Rack Recommendation for 2014 Toyota Tacoma Long Bed for Longer Kayaks
For as long of kayaks as you have your best bet is a taller ladder rack which will allow a portion of the kayaks to fit over the cab of the truck as well. For that your best option is the Thule Xsporter part # TH500XTB-THXK3 which has an adjustable height and is easily removed and installed. If you want to go the over the cab extension you'd instead need the Thule TracRac part # TH27000XT-TAEX which will allow the boats to be carried even further forward.
