The Kuat Ibex gives you two height options so you can set it up for whatever kind of trip you’re taking. In the full-height position, you’ve got the extra space you need for hauling bigger gear in your truck bed while keeping the rack ready for MOLLE panels or recovery boards. If you’d rather keep things easier to reach, the mid-height setup keeps your cargo within arm’s length. Changing between the two is simple—just remove the crossbars, add or remove the center upright section, and reinstall.

This rack handles up to 300 lbs, so it’s ready for heavy-duty use without weighing down your truck. The black powder coated aluminum construction keeps it light but rugged, and the ballistic black Tiger powder coat is made to stand up to long-term exposure and off-road conditions without fading or corroding. It’s tough enough for daily use and still sleek enough to look good doing it.
Every surface of this rack is built for gear. The crossbars, uprights, toprails, and bedrails all have integrated channels that fit off-road lights, load stops, and other channel-mount accessories. You can even use Ibex channel-mount adapters (sold separately) for things like a Piston SR bike rack, hi-lift jack, or shovel. That means you can set it up exactly how you want for camping, trail runs, or backcountry travel.

The crossbars slide in the upper bedrail channels, so you can set the spread to fit cargo baskets, rod holders, or any other clamp-on or channel-mount accessories. When you’ve got tall cargo in the bed, just slide the bars to either end so they’re out of the way. The top channels measure 55-11/16" long, giving you plenty of space to fine-tune your setup.

The Ibex bolts directly to truck bed utility rails or bedrails using the included hardware, so you get a solid, no-drill setup. If you want to mount it in a Retrax tonneau cover’s top channels, adapters are available separately. Once installed, the aluminum frame’s 68-15/16" length and modular design make it easy to expand with new accessories down the line—no need to replace the entire system.

Ratings & Reviews
Very happy with this rack. I have used it for about 6 months now and it held up extremely well and looks awesome. I added a large molle panel on the passenger side and two small molle panels on the driver side. I added the front molle panel to protect the rear window and the crossbar risers.
What I like: Well built, high quality, looks awesome, lots of easy to install and remove accessories (it is like the Jeep of bed racks)
What I do not like: A few screws have backed out after about 6 months (use blue Loctite), the front of the rack does not match the contour of the top of the cab and creates a gap between the rack and the truck cab.
Overall, I'd buy this rack over and over again. I cannot wait until Kuat releases the hard panel kit to make this an enclosed bed topper.
The rack is awesome. Sturdy and very functional with a ton of options.
