You can install the Kuat Ibex in full-height or mid-height configuration, depending on the gear you want to carry. Installing the uprights at full-height gives you more room for hauling large gear in your truck bed and allows you to use MOLLE panels for mounting recovery boards, RotoPax, and other accessories (sold separately). Setting the rack up in the mid-height position keeps all your gear within reach and makes it easier to load. And if you've already installed the rack and decide you want to change the height, just remove the crossbars, add or remove the middle section of each upright, and re-install the crossbars.
The crossbars, uprights, toprails, and upper and lower bedrails have channels that accommodate off-road lights, load stops, and other channel-mount accessories. Ibex channel-mount adapters and accessories (sold separately) are also available for mounting a Piston SR bike rack, an antenna, a high lift jack, a shovel, and more.
The crossbars are perfect for carrying cargo baskets, fishing rod holders, and other channel-mount or clamp-on overlanding accessories. They slide along the channels in the upper bedrails to match the crossbar spread on whatever gear you're carrying, so you can outfit the rack for different adventures. And if you're carrying large gear in your truck bed, you can slide the bars all the way to either end of the rack so they're out of the way.

Very happy with this rack. I have used it for about 6 months now and it held up extremely well and looks awesome. I added a large molle panel on the passenger side and two small molle panels on the driver side. I added the front molle panel to protect the rear window and the crossbar risers.
What I like: Well built, high quality, looks awesome, lots of easy to install and remove accessories (it is like the Jeep of bed racks)
What I do not like: A few screws have backed out after about 6 months (use blue Loctite), the front of the rack does not match the contour of the top of the cab and creates a gap between the rack and the truck cab.
Overall, I'd buy this rack over and over again. I cannot wait until Kuat releases the hard panel kit to make this an enclosed bed topper.
The rack is awesome. Sturdy and very functional with a ton of options.
