Can The DeeZee Invis-A-Rack Ladder Rack Be Paired With A Retractable Tonneau Cover

Im looking to combing an invis-a-rack by Dee Zee and a retractable tonneau cover - are you aware of any suggestions?

Hey chancy,

The Invis-A-Rack Folding Ladder Rack # DZ951800 uses clamps to mount to the inner lip of the bedrails, which is where the tonneau cover would need to sit. With this style ladder rack you would not be able to use a tonneau cover. There are other options though like the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Tonneau Cover w Contractor Rig Rack # JEF3042-CR4005. Is this something you'd be interested in or is there a certain style of ladder rack you're looking for?

Would custom drill mounting an invisarack impede it's function? I don't yet have one and have never seen one in person.

@ChancyH The base of the Invis-A-Rack # DZ951800 has a lip that the clamps hang on that would block the rails of the tonneau cover from mounting on the bedrails. Even if you didn't use the clamps and bolted it to the bedrails from the top you would still have to cut off that whole lip for the tonneau cover rails to fit against the bedrails as well. You'd be modifying quite a bit with no guarantee that it will properly function afterwards so I don't recommend it.
