Compatibility of DeeZee Invis-A-Rack Folding Ladder Rack DZ951800 with Tonneau Cover
Published 09/29/2016 >
Question:
Code: DZ951800 Can this be bolted to the bed rail instead of using the clamps? I have a toneau that is clamped and just inside of the rails and looking to bolt this next to it.

The DeeZee Invis-A-Rack Folding Ladder Rack # DZ951800 mounts on top of your Silverado's bed rails so if you installed it using screws, rather than the included clamps, it would be compatible with a tonneau cover that uses mounting hardware that sits inside the rails. My contact at DeeZee said this method would probably work so long as your hardware had a low enough profile so as to not interfere with the folding of the rack arms. They have not tested this installation process, however, and this install would void the warranty.
