Question:

I currently have a bed cover on my 2010 F-150 Super cab King Ranch. I assume that I would need to remove the sliding bed cover in order to install the bed rack. I am wanting to mount a rod vault to the rack as well and couldnt tell if it would fit over the cross bars. Do you know if that would work or do you have the dimensions of the cross bar that I could measure for fit?

You are definitely correct that the Buyers Products Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Black Aluminum - 800 lbs # 3371501680 requires you to remove your tonneau cover in order to install. It is also important to note that since the # 3371501680 attaches by clamping onto your truck bed's rails, you cannot use your tonneau cover simultaneously with this rack. As far as the crossbar dimensions, they measure 66" long x 3-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" tall. If you need a carrier that is compatible with these dimensions, I recommend the Malone Striper-4 Fishing Rod Carrier - Locking - 4 Fishing Rods # MAL26RR.

If you are want a ladder rack option that you can use simultaneously with your tonneau cover, this is only possible if your current tonneau cover does not completely cover the stake pockets such as the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Aluminum and Vinyl # BAK47ZR.
