Features to know about

Lifts Heavy Campers with Ease: 4,000-lb Combined Capacity and 57" Max Lift

Getting a heavy camper off the ground shouldn’t take all day. This pair of Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks gives you a combined weight capacity of 4,000 lbs and a lifting range of 21" to 57". The 10:1 gear ratio on the hand winches makes cranking smoother and easier, while the built-in friction brakes hold your load right where you leave it. It’s strong and steady enough for frequent use in rental or commercial setups.

Sets Up Fast Anywhere: Portable Tripod Design with No Permanent Mounting

You don’t need to bolt anything to your camper to get a solid lift. Each jack breaks down into three pieces for compact storage and quick setup. The tripod bases spread weight evenly and have large footplates that keep the jacks from tilting or sinking on soft ground. When assembled, the retractable swing-out leg with two wheels helps you roll each jack into place without strain.

Keeps Your Camper Stable: L-Shaped Brackets and Sturdy Steel Construction

Rocking or swaying while lifting can make things nerve-racking. These cable jacks use L-shaped lift brackets that support both the bottom and sides of your camper for a steadier, more balanced lift. The tripod bases and brackets are black powder coated, and the upright poles are galvanized steel for long-term durability and corrosion resistance.

Simple to Operate: Hand Winches with Automatic Friction Brakes

There’s no guesswork here—just crank each hand winch to raise or lower evenly. The automatic friction brake prevents free-spooling when you stop turning, keeping your camper securely in position until you’re ready to move again. Two people can work both sides together for quick adjustments, or one person can raise each side in small steps to get the perfect height for loading or unloading.

They bent while using them on something that was rated for it. Not impressed.

These jacks work really well. I deliberately bought the tallest, heaviest rated so that I'd maximize capability. They had no problem raising the camper much higher than needed. They provided good stability and ease of lift. The only complaints are that the poles were completely wrapped with cellophane tape (instead of cling wrap) creating a sticky mess. Also one of the top screws that keep the cable from going off the pulley was not included. The jacks had some surface (paint) damage. I'm not sure if that was due to being previously purchased and returned, or damage during shipment. But these are very strong and stable.

This system works for the heavy 1980s truck camper I have. My camper once had the 4 jacks on each corner but the ones in front broke off twice and it didn't seem worth rebuilding the wood inside to remount them. The tradeoff is its not easy to pack these jacks around and take the camper on and off while camping. But at least I can use my camper again. I kept the back 2 corner jacks on even though the information on the new ones suggests that they are enough but for more safety and ease I use the old back jacks and these new Brophys. So I would recommend them for such a situation.

I bought two of the 67 inch 4000 lb jacks my cab over slide in camper is heavy I had no problems lifting up the camper but I don’t have a concrete area so I built my own six inch wooden pads and I decided to use another set of the jacks as I don’t own the property where I live and the landlord would not allow it so I’m getting a second set just for peace of mind.the price makes the most sense for me.

I could not be happier with the service I received from etrailer I ordered a significant amount of parts for my new truck and camper however the shipping company lost major components. With one phone call I got a real person on the phone. She asked for photos of the boxes and what was missing.after reviewing the photos they didn’t hesitate to immediately ship me the parts along with follow up calls and a tracking number for the replacement parts. I’m so grateful for the customer support they are a first class company. I will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks again.

  • Are The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Stable
You should not have a problem with the camper sliding out when you are using any of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks. The jack is very stable because of the tripod base. That stability will make the jack very difficult to tip to the front or the back. You will need to use two jacks, one per side. You will just need to make sure your camper jacks maximum weight capacity exceeds the weight of your camper. I have included a the different model Brophy Cable Camping jacks and their weight limits...

  • Is There a Pneumatic Trailer Jack Wheel Available
I may have a solution for you, but we don't carry any true pneumatic wheels for swiveling trailer jacks-they're typically only going to be used on heavy duty trailer jacks and dollies like the Trailer Valet # STC-V211. With that said, you may be able to use the Replacement Wheel for Brophy Heavy-Duty Cable Camper Jacks # 1206 which is a replacement for the Brophy # CX74 or # CXHD jack. This is a 2 piece wheel with a hard rubber tire, as opposed to a single piece plastic wheel that you'll...

  • Recommended Manual Jack System for Fleetwood Truck Bed Camper
For your 1999 Fleetwood Elkhorn Truck Camper, the electric jacks are notorious for failing and replacement parts are not easy to find. We unfortunately don't have the threaded rod you need to keep your jack from slipping. Manually adjusting it won't change the slipping issue, so you will need to use standard stabilizer jacks and a manual lift.
