What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. So today we are checking out this temp minder. This is gonna be for your refrigerator or freezer and what you're gonna be able to do is with the probe you can leave this on the outside, put the probe inside your fridge or your freezer and see where the temperature is without having to open it up and look. Let's check it out. Let's get right to using it now. We're gonna open up the fridge we've had it powered up for a little bit now.

Gonna put the probe, on the inside of the fridge. The cord is small enough where it will not mess with the (fridge door clicking) weather seal. I don't have to worry about it letting any air escape. We'll set it here and watch the temp drop. Now on the backside, you can either attach it to something that's magnetic which our fridge isn't today, but it's also got a stand.

So I can just stand it up here and we can keep an eye on it. Take a look at the read-out. You can already see how quickly it dropped to get that reading inside the fridge. Now that's gonna be this number here. This number up top is gonna be the temperature of where our read-out is.

So this is sitting out here. It is telling us inside the rig it's 67.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Now next to that is gonna be our humidity levels. You can see that's at 0.3%. Up here in the top right corner you'll see the flashing snowflake.

That means it's the freeze warning. Now you can actually set this to let you know when it is, the temperatures are dangerous for whatever is in the fridge, so maybe you have some sodas in there. It's getting a little too cold, you don't want anything to happen that the alarm will go off like it's going off right now and letting you know it's at that temp. Now let's test the magnet. We're gonna do this, on our mini fridge here because the front's gonna be magnetic and now I like that it's right up front. I can easily see the read-out and see what the temperature on the inside. There's gonna be a max min button so you can hit that. It will tell you the max temperature that it's hits since you set this up. So it looks like it's 75. You go hit that, minimum's gonna be 34 and you hit it one more time and it turns it off. Now you can hit the clear button, so that will reset it. So then you can get new min and max. Here's a close-up of the probe, we're just gonna see what it looks like. You got plenty of cord to go into the refrigerator without being pulled really tight all the time. Now when you go to put the battery in, this one with the tab is gonna be what powers it. This other one over here is gonna help you store an extra battery. So if you have two of these, you put one here, which is nice, so just in case whenever this one runs out you have one ready to go right there. If you want to switch up, what way it measures the temperature. You flip it around. They include this tool, you just push in there. It will pretty go click. And then now we switched it to Celsius. Now you can use this to monitor the fridge or the freezer. So let's put it in the freezer and see how much colder that is. (metal objects banging) (freezer door clicking) Now since we have it in the freezer, we don't want the freeze alert going off, so we're just gonna go down here to the bottom, hold this button until the snowflake disappears and now the alarm is off. Overall, I think this is very helpful to have, especially when you're getting ready to go out on your trip. You fired up your rig. You wanna get that fridge, nice and cold before you put it any your food in there or even the freezer, nice and cold before you load that up too. This would be a good way to keep an eye on that while you're bringing other stuff in and out. You can see where you want it to be and then load it up. Well, I think that does it.
