Question:

Our ever chill refrigerator model # 282fwdc-6 was frozen in the back of it. A repair man came out and took it apart and defrosted it. It seems to over chilling the freezer and now the lights are flashing. What setting should I keep the fridge at? I check the freezer when we stop for the night and make sure the dial is straight up and not too far to the left or right. The freezer is not over loaded. What should we do to prevent over freezing

First you will want to check the airflow area between the freezer and refrigerator on your Everchill refrigerator is not blocked. The knob inside the freezer is designed to increase or decrease the amount of airflow which is allowed into the refrigerator portion. It is best to use 2 Thermometers # TM68FR inside both the refrigerator and freezer to find the correct settings for both the knob in the freezer and selector in the refrigerator. I have found using a Fan # A10-2606 can also help to circulate the air in the refrigerator and more evenly cool items in the refrigerator.
