Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt steel clevis pin with the handle and the clip. Now, this hitch pin will secure your ball mount or other hitch mounted accessory in your trailer hitch receiver. The clip will insert into the pin to hold that pin into place. Now on this pin, it has a nice extra wide rubber coated handle on it. Makes it very easy to grip, making installation and removal a snap. It is a welded steel construction.
It's very strong and durable. If you notice on the pin right here itself, it has a black powder coating to resist corrosion. Now this can also be used as a coupling pin when you're towing with an ATV, UTV or lawn tractor. Application, this is designed for one and a quarter inch hitches. The pin diameter is a half an inch. Overall length from this end of the handle all the way to the end of the pin is going to be right at seven inches.
And just the pin itself is going to be right at four and three-eighths inches long. But again, once you insert this in, you just put your clip through the hole there, push it on, it'll lock it into place, and then to remove it, just pull the clip off and then you can pull your pin right out. But that should do it for the review on the Curt steel clevis pin with the handle and the clip..
