Question:

Looking for a hitch reducer for a 2.0inch bike rack. My truck has a 2.5inch receiver. Do you have one that is shorter than the 7inch extension that i see recommended. Id like to keep the rack closer to factory position if possible. Thanks

To adapt your 2-1/2" receiver to accept your 2" bike rack you will want to use the B&W Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve item # BWRHXA2182. This reducer sleeve slides directly into your 2-1/2" receiver and does not extend past it by more than 1/4" of an inch.

The main issue is going to be the locking pin. If your bike rack fits a standard hitch pin which is 5/8" you will ok using the one currently on your 2-1/2" receiver. If it does not you will want to use the Curt Clevis Pin with Handle and Clip item # C45805 which has a 1/2" diameter. If your bike rack has a threaded pin please email me back with specific information on your bike rack and I will be happy to find you the correct threaded pin because they are different across manufacturers.
