Padded, Ratcheting Hooks

ratcheting hooks

The Sport Rider SE mast has a pair of ratcheting hooks that hold your bikes securely by the top tube. And because they move independently, you can carry bikes of different shapes and sizes. The hooks have soft padding that won't scratch or scuff your bike's paint.

Adjustable Wheel Hoops

wheel hoops

The rack has wheel hoops that provide a stable base for mounting your bikes. Each hoop has a hand knob that lets you easily slide it along the tray to accommodate your bike's wheelbase.

Folding, Tilting Design

tiltingfolding

The rack tilts down with your bikes loaded. So, whether you're at the trail or the grocery store, you don't have to remove your bikes to access your cargo area. It also folds up when not in use. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And if you want to remove it, it doesn't take up as much space to store it.

Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle System

install with handle

The rack installs in your hitch without the need for tools. Simply slide the shank into your receiver until the welded stop plate contacts the hitch. The stop plate saves you from getting on your hands and knees to align the pin holes while inserting the hitch pin. Once the pin is in place, attach the lock pod. Lastly, use the integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the shank to tighten the rack inside your hitch receiver and prevent it from rattling.

Complete Security for Bikes and Rack

install with handle

The ratcheting hooks have lock cores in the release buttons so you can secure your bikes to the rack. Simply slide the hooks over your bikes' top tubes until they click and lock them in place. There is also a keyed-alike locking hitch pin that secures the rack to your vehicle.

  • Can the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Be Used with Step Through Bikes
We have a solution for you either way but the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR may or may not work with your particular step through bikes. There are different styles of step through bikes and depending on how low the step through is, the ratcheting arm on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR may go down low enough to secure the bike or it may be a little short. However, if the ratcheting arm does not go down low enough on your particular bike we do...

  • Can Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack Be Used for E-Bikes
The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HLY94FR can support up to 35 lb bikes so since you're needing to carry E-Bikes you need the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR instead, which is rated for up to 70 lb bikes. I know the price difference between those racks is quite a jump so for a mid-tier option we have the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY84FR, which can support up to 80 lb bikes and still secures bikes by the frame. • Recommended Bike Rack for Electric Step Thru Bikes
Hey Anthony thanks for stopping by! The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR will work fine with your step thru bikes, but you're also going to need an adapter bar # HRBA-PRO. If you're not sold on the Sport Rider SE, then I'd suggest going with the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR. This rack is very similar to the SportRider SE but does not require the adapter bar for step thru bikes. Both racks can handle the exact same size bikes, so whichever you choose you'll be set! If there...

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2-Bike Carrier for Electric Bicycles, # HLY84FR. This carrier is designed for a 2 inch hitch receiver and accommodates 2 electric bicycles up to 80 lbs per bike. • Does the Kuat NV 2.0 Work with Bikes with Fenders?
I have a solution for you. Here at Etrailer, we strongly discourage using wheel-mounted bike racks like the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22B for bikes with fenders. Mounting wheels with fenders can cause the fenders to crack or become damaged, especially with the added bumps and torque from your vehicle when it is in motion. For a solution that completely avoids any potential for damage, I recommend the Swagman Dispatch Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S44FR. Since the Dispatch mounts...

  • Recommended Bicycle Cover for Carrying Electric Bike on Rear of Motorhome
I'm glad you like your Hollywood Racks # HLY84FR! Hollywood Racks does a fine job of building tough-as-nails bike racks. For your bike, I'd recommend using the Swagman # S24FR. However, the bag is designed for 2 bikes, so if you used it with one bike, you'd need to use bungees or something to take up some of the slack of the cover, otherwise it will be flapping around in the breeze which is not only annoying, but also causes wear and tear on the cover. The cover is designed to be used behind...

Hi Klara; the Curt # C89JR isn't rated for motorhome use so it will not work with your 2023 Gulf Stream Conquest. Instead, I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY84FR. This is in the same price range and secures the bikes by the frame. It also has a capacity of 80 lbs per bike. If you have a step-through model and need a different mounting style the # HLY64FR will also work. This is a frame mount but with the padded clamps it can also hold your...

I have a few different bikes racks for you that will carry e-bikes with fenders. That said, you will need to go with a frame mount style as you can't use a wheel mount bike rack on a bike with fenders. The best option for you will be the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack part # HLY84FR which has an 80 lb per bike weight capacity and soft padded frame hooks so you don't have to worry about rubbing. The perfect solution for you to carry your EVELO Luna with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2-Bike Carrier for Electric Bicycles # HLY84FR would be to use an adapter bar which attaches between your seat post and handlebar stem to create a horizontal mounting point. You can see exactly what it does in the photo I've attached for you. Amy, it would depend on the bikes. If each of your e-bikes weighed less than 37.5 lbs, and didn't have any fat tires, then yes you could use the Thule Apex Swing XT Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH9027XT. But if you're just hauling two bikes, I wouldn't recommend a 4 bike rack. I'd recommend using a two bike rack like # HLY84FR which is designed to carry two e-bikes.

Instead, what you need is part # HLY74FR. It's essentially the same bike rack, but it's designed to fit both an 1-1/4" hitch, (Class II only) as well as a 2" hitch (Class III). The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR has a rise of 7" so expect to lift your e-bike about 31" to get it on the rack. If that is too much I recommend pulling the battery so it is easier to lift. Also, now that I see the full frame of your particular TotGuard you will likely need the # HRBA-PRO as well. I have a solution for you. First, though, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HLY84FR, is capable of handling your bikes. However, it requires a Class III hitch. The good news is that we have a Class III hitch available for your 2021 Tesla Model Y. It's the Draw-Tite Max Frame, part # DT58MR. This has a tongue weight of 525 pounds, so you'll have no problem with a rack and heavy bikes.
