4-Bike Platform Style Bike Rack that Will Clear the Spare Tire on a Jeep Wrangler

Question:

Thank you. The distance from the center of hitch pin hole to back tire is 8-1/2". The other issue is all 4 of my bikes have full suspension or alternative type frame. That's why I was curious about this style rack

I haven't heard anyone report use of the rack on a Jeep Wrangler. Keep in mind that the 12-3/4 inch clearance measurement for Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Platform Style Item # S64665 is for just the bike rack. The handle bars and pedals of the nearest bike will still be closer to the back of the vehicle.

Fitting a platform style rack on a Jeep Wrangler can be a challenge. I need to know the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole back to however far is required to clear the spare. Based on that information I can recommend a rack that will be the most likely to fit.

Thank you for the additional information. To get more clearance, you would need to go to a hanging rack like the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR boasts 13-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack so it should work great for you. A couple of solid options there for you to review. I have linked videos of them for you as well.
