Nice to keep bike rims distant from the exhaust, which can damage carbon-fiber rims. But, IMHO over-designed......very heavy with thick-walled box channel sections. At least we know it won't structurally fail :)
Good bike rack
Solid support for transporting 2 bikes vertically. Nice drop down feature for accessing rear hatch door in SUV.
GREAT customer service during the buying process. Matt was helpful and provided his direct contact information...pretty unique in this day and age. We are in the process of putting the bike rack together and are pretty impressed with it's durability.
The bike rack is made for bikes with no fender, our bikes have fenders and a rack over the back tire. We added some padding for the back tire so the rack doesn't get scratched, it works just fine our bikes are secure.
Neat design. That's the only positive. Shows up in a million pieces. Surface rust on some of it already. Need a hammer to use "quick release" pins to pivot. 1 1/4" adapter is not long enough for either car I tried, unless your hitch sticks out PAST your bumper don't even bother. Had to trim 2" section of rack to make it fit hitch. Had to grease pivot section because rough surface finish would NOT allow rack to pivot. If I didn't need it (and didn't spend 2 hours assembling) I would have sent it back.
Worst bike rack I've bought since a K-mart contraption 30 years ago.
Very good overall. Latch locking it into place slipped loose on my first test drive holding a bike so make sure it locks completely in place before transporting a bike. Also, a clumsy fit with a luggage rack.
It works well with my Carbon fiber mountain bike. Very stable and it doesn't block the taillights of my Corolla.
Very sturdy and fits my two bikes great. Like the feature that allows me to access the back of my truck by by pulling single pin and dropping rack.
This bike rack works perfect with our F250 and our Travel Trailer!! Allows us to take our bikes AND our kayaks when we go camping!! Love it!! Sturdy, secure, safe and I love the loading option to load lower and safer instead of over extending!
I am 65 and I work as a structural engineering draftsman (CAD OPERATOR) I needed a small single bike carrier for my Jeep JK so I picked this one. This bike rack along with a 12" inch hitch extension gets the rack away from the Jeeps spare tire. I was surprised to find a well made rack along with well thought out instructions for the assembly. This is an excellent bike rack that will wind up being a great hand me down to my son and his family.
I think it’ll work good. I like that this has a 50 pound weight tolerance, my mtn bike is at least 40 pounds. Seems most other racks only support bikes 35 pounds or less.
The hooks at the top are a little too narrow so my handlebars don’t sit all the way down (about 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap). It’s probably ok, I think I’ll use some locking zip ties just to make me feel better.

Still using it and its still holding up. It will lean towards the side wthe heavier bike. It is one of the best for my Jeep TJ having narrow spaced taillights and the only two-bike vertical rack Ive found.
