Does Softride Hang2 Vertical Bike Rack Fit 2 inch Hitch without Adapter
Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 05/29/2025 >
Question:
Is there any special hardware needed for the Softride Hang2 SR27041 to fit into a 2inch hitch? The description mentions that its meant for either 1-1/4inch or 2, but doesnt specify if it needs an adaptor or if the bike rack just natively fits into a 2inch hitch. Thanks in advance

Hey Ryan, the Softride Hang2 bike rack part # SR27041 that you referenced does not require any additional hardware to fit into a 2 inch hitch. What kind of bikes do you need to carry?

Hey Ryan, I'm glad to hear the Softride Hang2 bike rack fits directly into a 2-inch hitch without extra hardware. What kind of bikes are you planning to carry with it? I'm asking because it could help others looking to transport their bikes.
