Question:

Hi! I am trying to figure out how to put 4 bikes lightweight bikes on the back of my 2023 Ram Promaster 3500 class B... while keeping access to my rear door. Most swing-away solutions seems to be not RV-rated. Do you have any product of solution for that? Thanks!

No, I am sorry. Your research is correct the swing-away adapters like the item # PVP20B just aren't built strong enough to withstand the extra vibrations and stress caused by being mounted on RV's. Plus they reduce the hitches capacity by 50% leaving you with a minimal amount of capacity to handle the weight of a 4-bike bike rack and the bikes themselves.

The only solution I can offer you is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack item # HR1400Z which tilts down when loaded or unloaded but I can't even guarantee this will clear your doors. It has a 50 lbs per bike capacity, weighs 91-1/2 lbs in a 4-bike set up, and you can remove the back two carriers if you only need to transport two bikes.
